Penang to offer rent-to-own scheme for lower income families

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government will focus on using a rent-to-own scheme to help lower income families to purchase and own a Public People’s Housing (PPR) home.
State Housing, Local Government, Town and Country planning committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said three sites had been identified for the construction of new PPR rented units — Lot 10042, Lot 10043 and a part of parcel A in Section 1, Bandar Jelutong.
