PONTIAN (Nov 16): BN's candidate Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng is leading by a huge margin of 8,152 votes.

Malaysiakini reported that at 7.20pm, Wee had 10,535 votes versus 2,387 obtained by Pakatan Harapan's Karmaine Sardini.

The other candidates fared very pporly.  Gerakan candidate Wendy Subramaniam received 648 votes, Parti Barisan Jemaah Islamiah (Berjasa) president Datuk Dr Badhrulhisham Abdul Aziz received 237 votes and two Independent candidates, Dr Ang Chuan Lock and Faridah Aryani Abd Ghaffar received 59 and 8 votes respectively.
