Jobless man nabbed for trafficking cannabis

SARIKEI: An unemployed man was arrested for alleged drug trafficking after a police raid uncovered over 330 grammes of dried cannabis in his house.

District police chief Supt Awang Arfian Awang Bujang said the arrest took place on Jan 10 around 10.30am at the suspect’s house at Jalan Allamanda.

“The raiding party found a black bag on top of a wooden cupboard in a room at the house. The bag contained a block of dried leaves that we suspect to be cannabis,” he told a press conference here yesterday.
