Immigration authorities receive travel ban request for KPU bribery suspect Harun Masiku

The Law and Human Rights Ministry's Immigration Directorate General has received a travel ban issuance request from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for bribery suspect and Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) politician Harun Masiku.
"We received the [request] letter yesterday," immigration spokesperson Arvin Gumilang said on Tuesday as quoted by Antara.
Harun, who ran in the 2019 legislative elections, has been accused of bribing General Elections Commission (KPU) member Wahyu Setiawan with the intention of influencing the commission's decision about a replacement for deceased PDI-P politician and House legislator-elect Nazarudin Kiemas.
