DCP Dev Kumar issues final warning to those spreading fake news on coronavirus outbreak

KUCHING: Those found responsible for spreading fake news about the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak can be jailed for up to two years, warned Sarawak Deputy Police Commissioner Datuk Dev Kumar.
One such case was a piece of fake news alleging that a suspected Wuhan coronavirus patient was admitted to Timberland Medical Hospital here which had gone viral on social media recently.
