Singapore & China to resume travel for essential purposes

Singapore and China have both agreed to launch a “fast lane” arrangement in June pertaining to travel for essential business and official purposes.
This arrangement is to ensure that there are effective COVID-19 prevention and control measures. The provinces who are eligible are – Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

I think both countries want the trade. China wants Singapore to help turn around the goods and business to other countries. Singapore want to boost her economy back fast. Also want to "patch back" the sour relationship. Remember China moves out their shipping center away from Singapore. No choice have to swallow the risk.
