A TOTAL of 83 pupils of SJKT Bayan Lepas in Penang will each receive a tablet for online learning.

Headmaster Sangga Sinnayah said the school had been raising money to buy the tablets by selling reusable cotton shopping bags.

“Within a week, we managed to raise RM24,000 from the sale of 1,000 bags at RM10 each as well as donations from parents, the public and NGOs, ” he told Bernama when met at the school recently.
