CARACAS, March 1 - Venezuela has approved the useof China's Sinopharm vaccine against the novel coronavirus, theSouth American country's health ministry said on Monday, afterit began administering Russia's Sputnik V vaccine last month.

The ministry did not specify how many Sinopharm doses itwould acquire or when they would arrive. President NicolasMaduro had previously said the country was in talks with Chinaover the possible use of its vaccines.
