Washington DC [US], March 13 (ANI): Scientists have tracked down that modified vaccinia infection Ankara (MVA), a smallpox immunisation, can be additionally changed in a recombinant structure to communicate the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 infection and that injection of a couple of dosages of the recombinant MVA shielded transgenic mice from deadly infection, with vaccination also preventing detection of infectious SARS-CoV-2 in the mouse lungs.
