PETALING JAYA: Following calls to hasten party polls, Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has clapped back at those who demanded for fresh party leadership, claiming the backlash he’s now facing is due to his refusal to disband Umno.

Without naming names, Ahmad Zahid claimed he was asked to “dissolve Umno all this while”.
