Let people choose vaccine, says expert

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians should be allowed to choose the Covid-19 vaccine that they want to be inoculated with, which will enable the government to achieve its goal of vaccinating 80 per cent of the population by February, thus achieving herd immunity.
Malaysian Public Health Physicians Association president Datuk Dr Zainal Ariffin Omar said some people were reluctant to register for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) due to vaccine manufacturer preference and strong side effect fears.
