德国国会通过网络安全新法。

德国国会周五通过涉及网络安全的新法案，保障流动通讯或能源网络等重要基建，可能把中国电讯设备制造商华为排除于当地的5G网络建设。

该条法例授权内政部禁止一些受外国政府控制或曾参与被视为危险活动的制造商，提供与安全有关的设备零件。基督民主党议员米德尔贝格称，随着5G网络发展，安全政策现已成为重要考虑。另一基民党议员贝斯迪尔则说，新法例让政府对所有供应商作技术和政治评估。

美国指控华为与中国政府有密切关连，涉间谍活动，因此严厉制裁华为，并呼吁盟友加入。但华为否认指控。
