US trade chief Tai, Britain's Truss discussed WTO reform in call: UK

WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - US Trade Representative Katherine Tai and British Trade Secretary Liz Truss discussed the need for substantive progress in reforming the World Trade Organisation and other key issues during a call on Tuesday (April 27), their offices said.
The two officials, who last spoke in March, also discussed "the role of trade in combating climate change, tough action on market-distorting industrial subsidies and the Airbus Boeing dispute," the British embassy said in a statement about the meeting.
