Adil Ray is confident Citizen Khan would not get the green light to be made today, agreeing it ‘wouldn’t pass the woke test’.
The Good Morning Britain presenter made the statement on Thursday’s show as he discussed comedy in the age of cancel culture after Jennifer Saunders declared Absolutely Fabulous couldn’t be made in 2021 because ‘everything is sensitive’.
