Hong Kong’s hotel industry has called for both clearer guidance and compensation after authorities confirmed that travellers entering the city will soon be able to spend less time in quarantine if they have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

The sector aired its concerns as the city confirmed seven new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, all imported, extending a streak of zero local infections now over two weeks long. Six of the seven cases were from Indonesia.
