Tammy Slaton is taking the next step in her relationship with Andrea Dalton. 

Two months after the 1,000-lb. Sisters star shared she was in a new relationship with a woman, she revealed she is officially engaged. 

“Me and my fiancée,” Tammy said during the June 24 episode of the A Creative Chaos podcast. “We just kind of chill at home.”

Naturally, the word choice piqued the interest of host Hunter Ezell who said, “Hold on, fiancée?”

Tammy couldn’t keep herself from smiling as Hunter went on to point out her necklace which read “Andrea,” and held her diamond ring up to show off for the cameras. While the 38-year-old was tight-lipped about the specifics of her engagement, Tammy did share that she and her fiancée have already been together for three years.

Tammy’s engagement news comes shortly after she revealed her relationship with Andrea during an April episode of 1,000-lb. Sisters. 

“I have been seeing someone for the past couple months and it's going pretty well," Tammy said in a confessional during the episode. “The person I'm dating is a woman.”

At the time, Tammy admitted she had kept the relationship under wraps because she did not want judgement from her family, which includes sister Amy Slaton. 

“So I haven't told my family because my family's gonna have something to say about it," she continued in the confessional. “I think my family probably has more opinions than the world has a--holes because they be farting so much.”

As she put it, "I don't know how my family's gonna react when I tell them I'm seeing a woman.”

Of course, Tammy had already been forward about her sexuality in the past, when she told her former boyfriend Jerry that she was pansexual during a 2021 episode of her TLC series. Years later, after her husband Caleb Willingham died in 2023, Tammy shared an update on her preferences again on social media. 

“I was saying I was pansexual, but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed," Tammy said in a since-deleted TikTok in 2024. “So, I'm like a lesbian.”

Since 2020, TLC viewers have watched Tammy Slaton's journey on 1000-lb. Sisters. She underwent bariatric surgery in mid-2022 and since then, fans have continued to witness her transformation on TV and on social media.

As of August 2024, she has lost 500 pounds.

The reality star shared a snap of herself in a floral print dress on Instagram in June 2023.

That same month, Tammy posted a group photo with her brother Chris Combs and YouTuber Chelcie Lynn.

In July 2023, Tammy mourned the death of her husband Caleb Willingham. "Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much," she wrote on Instagram alongside throwback photos, "thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness."

Tammy stopped for a series of bathroom selfies, shared on Instagram August 2023.

In October 2023, Tammy proudly posed for an Instagram selfie in jeans.

Tammy posted this video on TikTok in January 2024.

After she shared new selfies in April 2024, her weight loss surgeon, Dr. Eric Smith, commented, "You are killing it!"
