If you’re reading this piece, I’m going to say “thank you” before anything else. Reading this means you care enough to know what it’s like to be raising and caring for a child with differing abilities. So, thank you for acknowledging that we exist, and that we truly do have different parenting struggles and heightened challenges that we face every day.
