Tammy Slaton isn't cutting out everything after losing 500 pounds.

After the 1000-Lb. Sisters star was seen holding a bottle of Starry soda in a TikTok video, she explained why she still includes the bubbly drinks in her diet.

"I'm not supposed to drink the sodies as much," Tammy explained in an Aug. 5 TikTok video. "In moderation, you can drink or eat whatever you want. I drink a lot of water and I drink a lot of sodies.” 

With the reality star being "three to four years post-op," she knows it's essential to stay focused on her weight loss.

"Everything I'm doing is not fine, but it's OK because I'm still continuing on my diet," she added. "I'm still continuing to lose weight and I'm still hitting goals." 

Tammy—who has detailed her weight loss journey with sister Amy Slaton on the TLC show since 2020—is enjoying the little things in life, especially since undergoing skin removal surgery.

"I'm shocked, like I feel so weird," she said on 1000-Lb Sisters in June, joking about the skin around her neck, "I don't have my hanging ballsack off my face. My bat wings are gone, too. And I look down, and there's nothing there but my lap now."

She admitted, "It's going to take a little while for me to get used to seeing myself like this."

After all, the 39-year-old—who got engaged to Andrea Dalton in June—has worked for over six years to lose the weight. 

"Everyone is telling me I look smaller than Amy," she teased on 1000-Lb Sisters in April. "That's kind of hard to believe. I can't believe I did it."

Tammy wasn't the only person who was all smiles after her transformation. Her bariatric surgeon Dr. Eric Smith couldn't help but praise her determination.

"I was absolutely thrilled for Tammy and incredibly proud of her progress, but not surprised," he told People in October 2024. "Tammy has consistently demonstrated her dedication to making sustainable lifestyle changes to maximize the benefits of her surgery."

"I've emphasized the importance of making small, daily adjustments to ensure not only her continued progress but also her long-term success," he continued. "She's truly committed to her health journey."

Since 2020, TLC viewers have watched Tammy Slaton's journey on 1000-lb. Sisters. She underwent bariatric surgery in mid-2022 and since then, fans have continued to witness her transformation on TV and on social media.

As of August 2024, she has lost 500 pounds.

The reality star shared a snap of herself in a floral print dress on Instagram in June 2023.

That same month, Tammy posted a group photo with her brother Chris Combs and YouTuber Chelcie Lynn.

In July 2023, Tammy mourned the death of her husband Caleb Willingham. "Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much," she wrote on Instagram alongside throwback photos, "thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness."

Tammy stopped for a series of bathroom selfies, shared on Instagram August 2023.

After she shared new selfies in April 2024, her weight loss surgeon, Dr. Eric Smith, commented, "You are killing it!"

Amid her weight loss journey, Tammy continued to provide her followers with the optimism she had gained throughout her 500-lb. weight loss.

“Always remember you are beautiful,” she wrote in the caption of an August 2024 TikTok. “You are strong. You are brave. You are loved and you are enough.”

After months of setbacks that prevented Tammy from being approved for skin removal surgery, she was finally given the green light for the procedure.

She unveiled the results on a June 2025 episode of the TLC series.

One month after Tammy revealed her new look following her skin removal surgery, she shared a series of selfies from her life as of late.

Included in the July 2025 update, she showed off her new figure in a skin-tight body suit as she smiled at the camera.
