I've always been a huge fan of protective styles—they're low-commitment, easy to style, and perfect if you're transitioning to natural hair. One type I still haven't tried that's on my list? Micro-braids. They're teeny tiny braids (different from larger, chunkier box braids) that usually take multiple hours and a few braiders to actually achieve the finished look. But micro-braids are so cute and there are so many ways to wear them, they're def worth the time commitment.
