There is nothing I love more than layering similar scents to create a more complex and long-lasting fragrance that will have me smelling incredible all day, and with summer now underway, I have found myself leaning towards fruity, zesty notes that are perfect for the season.

So, here are my personal favorite fruit-scented beauty products that will have you smelling good enough to eat all summer long!

1. The Body Shop Passionfruit Body Scrub, £19

As with all good scent-building routines, you will need to start in the shower, and I couldn’t be a bigger fan of The Body Shop’s brand new passion fruit collection, which smells even better than I imagined. 

In my opinion, passion fruit is criminally underused in the beauty world, and the Body Shop has really captured its sweet, slightly tangy fragrance that smells identical to the actual fruit. 

And in addition to smelling good, it’s an incredibly effective scrub, too, in part thanks to the formula’s clever inclusion of kiwi seeds, which work as natural exfoliants as well as expertly recreating what the inside of a passion fruit looks like. 

The gel-textured scrub feels refreshing on your body, and effortlessly buffs away dead skin cells to leave you feeling smoother and softer while smelling absolutely divine.

2. The Body Shop Passionfruit Shower Gel, £8.50

And while I promise that there will be way more variety on this list from here on out, I also just have to shout out The Body Shop’s passion fruit shower gel, which smells just as good as the scrub and leaves your skin feeling invigorated.

The scent is incredibly long-lasting, and I am confident that anybody would be obsessed with its unique sweetness that immediately transports me to a sun-soaked holiday destination. 

3. Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment, £8.99

Moving onto hair, and Garnier Ultimate Blends has a whole bunch of fruity treatments, including coconut, pineapple, papaya, and watermelon, but as somebody who is constantly battling with dry, damaged tresses, it is the banana and shea blend that I am loving at the moment. 

The secret sauce to Garnier’s hair masks is that they are all boosted with vitamins that actually do something. For example, Vitamin C adds shine to your locks, while E leaves it feeling moisturized, and F helps make your hair stronger. 

The shea butter adds an extra layer of nourishment and essential oils, and, of course, it has a delicious banana smell that is long-lasting on your hair well after the product has been washed out. 

4. Liz Earle Cherry-Scented Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser, £28

Once you’ve cleansed your hair and body, you need to cleanse your face, and there’s no more delicious product for the job than this Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel.

As with each and every Liz Earle product, the cleanser is incredibly effective, and has a beautifully silky smooth consistency that melts away makeup and impurities, minimizing pores and leaving your skin looking luminous and brightened. 

But it is the scent that takes this particular product one step further. Made with black bee honey, acerola cherry, and elderberry oil, its main fragrance is actually zesty bergamot, but when I used this product, I was overwhelmed with the sweet smell of cherries when I first rubbed the product into my skin.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that it genuinely smells like the inside of a Bakewell tart, and I can’t get enough of it!

5. First Aid Beauty’s Tangerine-Scented After-Shower Nourishing Body Oil, £32

Next up is body oil, and First Aid Beauty more than deliver with this tangerine-scented delight. Created to be used right after showering, this nourishing oil locks in moisture, and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and nourished. 

The crisp tangerine fragrance effortlessly comes through in every pump of this product, and the zestiness of the formula really helps to wake up your skin and leave you feeling rejuvenated. 

6. Fenty Skin Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream In Citrus Sorbet, £32

I have long been a fan of Fenty Skin’s whipped oil Butta Drop body creams, and I couldn’t be more excited to switch out my usual vanilla for the summery Citrus Sorbet scent, which smells as great as it sounds. 

With notes of blood orange, fizzy lemonade, and pink sugar, there is a sweet undertone to this lotion that I can only compare to the delectable smell of Starburst sweets, ensuring that the sharpness of the citrus components does not become overbearing.



And, as with all of Fenty’s Butta Drops, Citrus Sorbet is full of essential oils that both hydrate your skin and leave it glowing with a healthy, glossy sheen that will have you looking just as good as you smell.

7. Ceremonia Guava Rescue Spray Leave-In Conditioner, £24

And speaking of guava, if there is one thing that I love, it’s a product with multiple uses, which is why I am so here for this guava-scented Ceremonia spray that is both a leave-in conditioner, and heat protectant up to 232ᵒC.

And that protection isn't just from hair styling products! This spray also has a natural UV filter that works to protect your hair from environmental aggressors and damage from things like pollution, blue light, and the sun’s rays. 

I personally like this product because when I use it, I see a noticeable difference in how smooth, silky, and detangled my hair is once dried. However, it’s also pretty good to know that it is working to protect my tresses all day long, not to mention that it smells good, too!

8. Revolution Pout Lip Oil In Juicy Peach, £6.99

Lip oils have really taken off in recent years, and this one from Revolution Beauty has become my new go-to amid my fruity-scented venture. 

The high-shine oil leaves my lips hydrated without becoming sticky, and there is a subtle shimmer and hint of color to this product that means you can use it on its own every day, or as the finishing touch to a full lip look. 

I am personally obsessed with the Juicy Peach shade, and have found that the sweet peach scent is long-lasting after application. However, it is also available in a wide variety of other scents, including Lychee Clear, Raspberry Pink, Watermelon Pink, and Cherry Red.

9. Revolution Super Dewy Liquid Blush Burst Serum, £6.99

And Revolution Beauty has really pulled out all of the stops this summer, with its Super Dewy Blush Burst Serum also coming in a wide range of seriously delicious scents.

If you’re not familiar with blush serums, they are the perfect combination of skincare and makeup; the Blush Burst nourishes your skin with peptides and hyaluronic acid that keep your cheeks plump and hydrated while also adding a beautiful burst of color. 

In addition, I need to shout out the travel-friendly size of this product, which makes it a hand luggage essential when you go on holiday this summer.

While the Blush Burst is available in a whole bunch of non-fruity scents, I can personally vouch for the luscious Very Cherry and Strawberry Milkshake shades. Other fruity options include Watermelon Pop, and Peach Spritz. 

10. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Ice Cooling Lip Luminizer, £20

Fenty Beauty is seriously serving with its new range of Gloss Bomb Ice Cooling Lip Luminizers, which are now available in three fruity scents: Berry Jelly, Ice’D Pineapple, and Melon Chillz. 

While they may all look different colors in accordance with its scent, these luminizers are actually translucent as well as shimmer-free, but provide shine and nourishment to your lips while, of course, smelling absolutely incredible. 

The formula is made with softening shea butter, as well as vitamin E, which helps to give your lips a plumper look. It is also infused with peppermint, which delivers an instant cooling effect upon application, making this product a handbag essential when out and about this summer. 

It’s worth noting that while each of these scents definitely has their distinct respective smell, there is a slight hint of refreshing peppermint in all of them, too!

11. Lush’s Dad’s Garden Lemon Tree Body Spray, £22

While Lush is perhaps best known for its amazing bath products, its body sprays also deserve a moment in the spotlight, because I was absolutely spoilt for choice by the wide range of fragrances available.

But, for me, Dad’s Garden Lemon Tree is the perfect summertime scent thanks to its zesty lemon and lime notes that are combined with sweet bergamot oil as well as a subtle twist of lavender, which seamlessly balances out the sharpness of the citrus fruits. 

Just one spritz of this body spray immediately transports me to the warmth of a citrus orchard in some sunny European village, and the lasting fragrance has me smelling like a summer holiday all day long.

12. D’OTTO 8x1 Extrait de Parfum, £295

Though I can fully appreciate that this particular price point is not attainable for everybody, if you do have more cash to splurge, then I genuinely can not recommend D’OTTO’s brand new 8x1 Extract de Parfum enough, with the scent rather beautifully inspired by Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel, Wuthering Heights. 

The fragrance is the olfactory embodiment of a European summer, with top notes of Amalfi rhubarb, Sicilian orange, petitgrain — which is the essential oil derived from the leaves and twigs of a bitter orange tree — from Paraguay, grapefruit from Barbados, and Sorrento lemon. 

8x1’s middle notes include Sicilian bitter orange, Egyptian cassis, and lily of the valley from Lake Como, with Italian cashmere, Australian sandalwood, and cedar wood among the base notes. 

And I have to admit that this combination makes for a perfume that is unlike anything that I have ever smelled before, with the inclusion of the rhubarb one of my favorite aspects of the scent, as the sweetness really cuts through and adds a particularly unique layer to the overall fragrance. 

I honestly can’t get enough of D’OTTO’s latest offering, and can confidently say that it is the kind of perfume that will guarantee you compliments while exuding class and elegance at all times. 

13. Molton Brown Orange & Bergamot Hand Cream, £12

And as a final finishing touch on our fruity journey, I adore everything Molton Brown, but you really can’t go wrong with its classic orange and bergamot range, with this hand cream a handbag essential for me this summer. 

The cream itself is infused with fresh mandarin and neroli for a sweet but crisp scent that also leaves your skin silky smooth, and will add a welcome burst of fragrance every time you apply.
