SINGAPORE — A 17-year-old girl was the youngest among five individuals arrested in Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) operations on Wednesday evening (27 September) for suspected drug transactions through a chat application.

Investigations by CNB and police ongoing

The five people were arrested after investigations were conducted on people who had bought drugs via a chat application, said CNB Intelligence Division deputy director, Chang Gim Fook.

"Drug offenders who think that such chat applications would enable them to transact anonymously cannot be more wrong," said Chang.
