Anything can happen on live TV — and that includes guests and hosts alike walking off set! Sometimes, it's done as a joke, but more often than not, it's a surprisingly dramatic reaction!

Here are 18 times celebs walked off TV shows:

1. After Corey Feldman was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars Season 34, a viral TikTok from an audience member showed him walking off stage alone while the other cast members said their goodbyes.

On the show, Corey expressed regret over not being able to help his dance partner, Jenna Johnson, win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. He said, "I feel really terrible because she deserved better. She deserves to be the champ every year in my book."

On Instagram, Jenna said, "Corey 💘 Our time together was cut short but I am SO grateful for the incredible weeks we did get to share!! Thank you for the giggles everyday in rehearsal, thank you for the hard work, and thank you for sharing your life lessons and memories with me! I'll cherish our friendship forever. Never stop dancing."

Cory commented, "Thank U Jenna! U were an absolute joy to work with. Im so sorry for any negativity the media is using to give the false narrative that our time together was anything less than enjoyable. And U know as well as i do that i was there 7 days a week for the past 3 weeks, doing everything in my power to give U my best, even if the judges couldnt see it. God Bless your family. Keep dancing the dream. ❤️🙌"

Morgan faced a lot of criticism from viewers. Likewise, cast member Kenan Thompson told Entertainment Weekly, "I don't know what goes through people's minds when they decide to do stuff like that. I don't know if he understood the assignment or not, or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way... It's definitely a spike in the norm. We're so used to everybody just turning around and high-fiving us, everybody's saying, 'Good job, good job, good job.' So when there's a departure from that, it's like, hmm, I wonder what that's about?" He also said he "never met" the singer, but he "seems like a complicated individual."

Sources told Variety that Morgan had a "good time" on SNL and didn't mean to slight anyone with his exit or his Instagram post. There were later reports that he refused to participate in a sketch and was replaced by Joe Jonas. Morgan later addressed the walk-off himself, telling Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley, "I was ready to go home. I'd been there all week."

3. When Donald Trump appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien for the first time in 1997, Conan embarrassed him by making him reveal he had a condom in his pocket.

Conan later told Rolling Stone, "He was pissed. He was really mad. I went to commercial. He stood up. I don't think he said goodbye to me, and he walked over to my producer and said, 'That's the last time I'm gonna be on this fucking show. He humiliated me in front of everybody.' He stormed out. Cut to me seven more times [over the years]: 'Ladies and gentlemen, Donald Trump!' He got over it, clearly. He would shoot bits for us: 'Can we get Nipsey Russell to come shoot something? He's not available? Well, then, try Donald Trump. Donald will do it.' Anyone who would do that, and then is the leader of the free world, is not going to make sense to me."

4. In 2015, Joan Rivers walked out of a CNN interview after getting angry at Fredricka Whitfield. First, Joan got upset about the interviewer's questions regarding her negative comments on Fashion Police as well as several boundary-crossing jokes in her books (regarding Caylee Anthony's death and Princess Diana's dating life). However, her final straw was Fredricka bringing up the criticism Joan had faced for wearing fur on her book cover.

When the show came back from commercial, the actor was gone. Letterman said, "I think that's the first time that we've been doing this show that a guest actually tried to kick me... He came very close to denting my head with those giant shoes, so I thought, 'I don't need that. I'm 40. I went to college. That is not how I want my life ended, some goofball, some dork from wherever...'"

Twenty-five years later, Crispin told HuffPost, "Well, the thing that I say in media, which we're in right now — what I always answer is, 'I neither confirm nor deny that I was ever on the David Letterman show.' Which, of course, there's a sense of humor to it — you can make what you want. When people ask me at my shows, I go into a lot of detail about anything. But, in media, that's what I always say... But, I mean, when I started acting, my concept about publicity...my interest was just to be an actor. I was never really that comfortable with publicity."

14. In 1996, director Abel Ferrara ran off Late Night with Conan O'Brien before even taking the stage. Conan told Armchair Expert, "He was this wild eccentric. And he fled during the show before his segment. He ran away, got on the elevator, and was out on the street running away and [producer Frank Smiley] gave chase."

NBC

The producer caught Abel and brought him back to set. Conan continued, "He came on camera against his will, came out, and...started yelling at me... It was like if you ate 15 cloves of garlic, you wouldn't say that was a great experience, but you'd remember it."

18. And finally, when Husbands director John Cassavetes and actors Peter Falk and Ben Gazzara appeared on The Dick Cavett Show in 1970, their behavior was appalling. They lit up cigarettes, jumped and danced around, and threw themselves onto the floor repeatedly, among other things. One of them even took off a shoe and did the interview barefoot. When the trio threw themselves into a pile onto the floor, Dick had enough and walked off.

Here's the full clip, with Dick walking out at the 10:50 mark:

He told the New Yorker, "It was out of the blue. It was astonishing. I could not believe it, while it was happening... I had a mixed feeling as it was happening. I knew it would be entertaining in a certain way involving the word 'horror.' And that it would be talked about. And that it might be fun. But it's hard to deal with three people. When one person is being an ass, you can pretty much deal with him, or I can — and people who do what I do better be able to — but with three, the focus was so diffuse. I had no idea how long it was gonna go on, whether it was ever gonna stop. If they were ever gonna snap out of it."

ABC / Via youtube.com

"Most people felt sorry for me, which kind of embarrasses me, because I remember sitting there thinking, I don't want to come off as the victim of this. The sad thing...is I could see the faces in the audience. And they were delighted, at first, and then the smiles disappeared. And then they looked just sort of grim and horrified and disapproving," he said.

ABC / Via youtube.com

He also added that, after the interview, a producer grabbed the three guests and told them, "I really have to congratulate you. You probably unsold more tickets to this movie than most movies get." The trio later admitted that they'd been drinking before the interview.
