20,000 publication materials seized for violating Printing Presses and Publications Act

BANDAR BAHARU: The Home Ministry seized 20,000 publication materials valued at RM1.2 million last year for violating the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984.
Its minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, said the seizures were made during Ops Cetak inspections conducted across 1,759 premises nationwide.
"The inspections were carried out under the Printing Presses and Publications Act to address undesirable publications.
