It’s really not painful to use, as long as you’ve shaved the area well. I tested the device on levels 3, 6, and 9 during my first use. I was able to use level 9 all over. If you use this on any areas that still have hair, it seems to burn the hair and produces a smell of burning hair.

A few years ago, before I invested in these running socks that prevent blisters, I got a blister on my big toe so unspeakably large and painful that I am cringing even TYPING about it, and no amount of rest from running seemed to heal it; it just kept coming back.
