As a BuzzFeed Shopping editor, my goal is to find all the products actually worth buying.

1. Journal stamps that add some extra structure to your agenda. The 18-piece kit comes with various designs that'll allow you or your type-A student to add the days of the week, star ratings, reading lists, and more.

www.amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "This is my first time purchasing a large stamp set on Amazon so I wasn't sure which set I should go with. I wanted something for journaling and this set seemed to have a nice variety of productivity stamps. I love the fact that they are rubber stamps, and they print clearly on paper. They're not too big or small either." —Beautybydesy

Get a set of 18 from Amazon for $16.99.

2. ~Magical~ color-changing markerssure to impress everyone at school (or work!). Color as normal, then flip the marker over and use the clear tip to change the hue and add a wow factor to any doodle.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "Soooo, these markers are SUPER cool. The color-changing feature is so neat, and they were so reasonably priced. They don't smudge or bleed through even thin paper. Makes cool designs and fun for all ages. Makes a handmade card really unique! Lots of color options. They don't seem to bleed into each other either, even if you color change over a wet area that you just colored with the opposite end of the marker. Well worth it!" —Austen

Get a pack of 10 from Amazon for $8.99 (also available in glitter, plus other non-magic styles like erasable).

3. Ticonderoga erasers shaped like classic yellow pencils offering a somewhat confusing notetaking experience. Unlike *some* novelty erasers, these actually get the job done, sans smudges.

Amazon

Ticonderoga makes the best #2 pencils, IMO, so it makes sense their erasers are good too.

Promising review: "This is the second school year I am buying these for my daughter because she loves them that much and they last the whole year. They are Ticonderoga, so of course they work the best of all the brands. (Their pencils are a teacher’s first choice. 😉) They are so cute and cheap for as long as they last. Also, they don’t leave a lot of residue, and when it comes to erasing, that’s huge!" —S. Wallace

Get a pack of three from Amazon for $4.10.

4. Some animal-themed eraserswith caps to keep them safe in between mistakes (whether they be homework or Sudoku related). You can get a big pack of 12, so feel free to share with friends and classmates!

www.amazon.com

They also have a clingy roller compartment in the bottom that picks up stray eraser bits.

Promising reviews: "These are good for positive incentives in my classroom. The children love them." —Amy N.

"These little erasers are a total game changer in my classroom. They’re surprisingly functional and satisfying to use. One side erases cleanly, while the other has a tiny built-in roller that picks up all those pesky eraser bits — no more messy desks or paper confetti everywhere! Even my middle schoolers are into them, which says a lot. They actually look forward to using them, and I’ve even started giving them out as birthday gifts — my students love choosing their own design, and it’s become something they genuinely get excited about. Highly recommend for teachers, tutors, or anyone who deals with lots of pencil work!" —Karen

5. An XL gluestick for massive projects that need more than a lil' adhesive. Small children may need to use both hands when holding this thing, which is really cute to imagine.

8. Kutsuwa highlighter pencilsthat will have everyone swearing off the marker version for life. These offer more control, don't smudge or bleed, and don't get ink on your hands. Plus, they're just a really cool twist on a school supply classic!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I had no idea there was such a thing as a wooden pencil highlighter. These exceeded my expectations. The pencil is wood, so one less bit of plastic to end up in a landfill. The 'lead' part of the pencil appears to be a kind of waxy crayon-like material. It goes on like a dream. Just as useful as a traditional liquid felt-tip marker for highlighting. Because I had it handy, I used one today at work to mark a peg location to install a shelf. This bright highlighter pencil left a nice mark for me to locate the correct peg hole for the shelf, which wiped off easily from the metal once it was installed. 100% recommend! Definitely will buy again." —M. C.

Get a pack of four from Amazon for $7.20.
