As an extremely online person (who also writes stories like this for the Internet), I often wonder what it's like to be extremely offline. My dad is *quite* offline but sometimes I will shove my phone in his face and make him watch a funny horse TikTok. So this roundup of ideas is v much inspired by my own offline dad who's pretty hard to buy for. In short, I did some of the grunt work for you if you've got an offline Father Figure in your life but basically talk in TikTok sounds.

1. An inflatable loungerthat'll pack up easy to tote around to the beach, park, camping...maybe even just the backyard!

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I love this couch so much. I have taken it to the lake several times this last summer. It takes a little practice to fan in enough air, but once you know what you’re doing, it takes no time at all to get it inflated enough. I have only used it on a daily basis and never overnight, but it seems to hold air well. It’s comfy and seems fairly durable, but I keep my dogs off of it just in case. It packs small and light. It’s super easy to use, and I love the color pattern. I get compliments on it from strangers every time." —Jocey

Get it from Amazon for $37.98+ (available in 11 patterns).

2. "The Drippy Trip," a newer version of the TikTok cult fave Magic Puzzle. (There are TikTok spoilers, but it's not like he has the app anyway.) This not only lets you practice your jigsaw skills, it also has Easter eggs throughout and a surprise at the end. So it's not your average puzzle!

Amazon

Promising review: "Incredible new puzzle. We have put together every one in every collection. The colors in this puzzle were so brilliant. Can’t wait for the next one. P.S. I would never take a picture of the final puzzle, it’s a mystery." —Matt Moore

Get it from Amazon for$24.99. (And check out the assortment of Magic Puzzlesfor more options!)

3. A hummingbird feeder ring could make him feel like a Disney Princess in his holey 5K shirt from 13 years ago he refuses to toss. You just fill the ring's base with homemade sugar water, pop on the lil' feeder top, and await your new feathered friends to come and say hi.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

ZUMMR is a small business!

Promising review: "I brought this with me on a camping trip in the Colorado mountains. Once the hummingbirds discovered the feeder, they were around it constantly.
