I have been a BuzzFeed Shopping writer since 2017, with a focus on unique, practical products, up-to-date parenting finds, and up-and-coming home decor.

1. A 2-in-1 kitchen scale and measuring cup that'll save space and keep things simple while you bake delicacies that are anything but. This works with both your wet and dry ingredients, so feel free to forget about washing a big batch of dishes after making a batch of your best Dubai chocolate chip cookies.

Amazon

Promising review: "This scale with a built-in cup is the best thing for my baking tools. No more whipping out 1,000,000 cups. Also, [rather than] always trying to figure out grams or cups, now I just press a button, and it tells me. I love this." —Corin lonigro

Get it from Amazon for $19.98 (available in two colors).

2. A genius tofu press, which will efficiently drain tofu to get the perfect texture and taste, mess not included.

TofuBud

BTW locals, TofuBud is a small biz based in San Francisco!

Promising review: "I was resistant to getting a tofu press. Another kitchen gadget! But this little guy does not disappoint. It saves time and is clean, fast, and easy. I thought I would want something made of wood or metal — but really this is just the thing. It’s cute, rinses out licketty split, and gets the job done without messing up towels or having to boil off extra water. My countertop stays clean. I’ve been a vegetarian all my life and this little gadget is already indispensable." —Maria Lewis

Get it from Amazon for $22.99.

3. A *life*-changing 12-piece Caraway cookware set— nonstick cookware with minimalist silhouettes sure to complement any kitchen. These work with induction, gas, and electric stovetops; they're all oven-safe up to 550 degrees, made with a nontoxic coating, and feature nonstick ceramic with an aluminum core and stainless-steel handles. Whew! Sorry for all that; I really got Caraway'd away!

www.amazon.com, Mallory Mower / BuzzFeed

The set has a 10.5-inch fry pan, a 3-quart sauce pan and lid, a 4.5-quart sauté pan and a lid, a 6.5-quart Dutch oven and a lid, and storage for the pans and lids.

The video above is me doing my darndest to find something this cookware can't do by *caramelizing heavy cream* aaand guess what? It was flawless! These refuse to let anything stick to them or gunk them up. I use them heavily, every single day, and they continue to outdo themselves. Also, the storage system deserves its own highlight. I have nearly no counter space, and these pans aren't small, but the clever cubby/hanging canvas pot holder makes it possible to tuck this entire set into a teeny tiny corner beside my stove. I'm not a good enough person to deserve this kitchen set. I really, really recommend it.

Promising review: "I absolutely love my Caraway cookware! They are so easy to clean and the magnetic organizers are great for easy storage in kitchen cabinets. I love the hanging lid holder as it saves space and is super convenient (and renter-friendly with the adhesive hooks). The only thing I would mention is that they are not super lightweight. Otherwise, they are superb quality, nontoxic, nonstick, and beautiful!" —Rachel

Get the 12-piece set from Amazon for $445+ (available in eight colors and two set sizes).

Amazon

Promising review: "Wow, wow, wow, I have no words to describe how great this product is. I'm a mom with a large family who cooks and bakes all the time, and there is never a time that something doesn't spill over, even when standing and watching the pot. www.amazon.com

Promising review: "The color is perfect, and my first slices of toast were too. It’s easy to adjust. I used the included guide with pictures to adjust the knob based on how dark I like my toast. It was exactly how I like it. My old toaster was basically giving me warm bread. Not this little baby. I’m so happy I found it, and that I didn’t wait to buy it." —Shytel

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I bought this because I have the outlandish idea that my refrigerator will look just like those on TikTok, but I am pleasantly surprised to find that it keeps my cold cuts fresher for much longer than expected. It's large enough to hold a pound or more of cold cuts or cheese, which is a bonus. The sealing technology is superb and strong. At one point, I almost could not open the container due to the seal being so airtight. Not only does this product look good in my fridge, but it is saving me money, so definitely a win-win for me." —IrishEyes

I bought this after seeing it in a coworker's BuzzFeed article (you better believe I trust a BF review!) aaand it is witchcraft. I recommended it to my grandmother after using it. You don't know Nene, but if you did, you'd know recommending a kitchen tool to the *elite* chef in my family is a BIG deal. I bought it as a time-saver. I tossed an entire boiled chicken breast into this thing, twisted it twice, and it was perfectly shredded. I recommended it because I think it's a massively useful tool for folks with limited mobility or frustrating arthritis. This one's worth the cupboard space, folks!

Promising review: "This product is amazing. I used it for my chicken and dumplings recipe. I figured it was another one of those 'too good to be true' items, but this does everything it says it does. I literally shredded two large chicken breasts in seconds, yes SECONDS!! I wish I had taken a video, but I didn’t. It didn’t move/slip from the counter, and it was perfection! Wow, just Wow!" —Ruthie V

My family loves pasta so we decided to try this out. 1) it is SO easy to use, my toddler can do it (with our supervision) 2) it is very easy to clean and assemble 3) I feel so much better after eating the pasta that we make verses the pasta that we buy from the store 4) the taste is fresh and so good! I highly recommend this!! We went with the smaller version since there are only 4 of us and that has been perfect for our family and great for storage as we don't have a lot of extra storage space. Stop thinking about it and JUST BUY IT!!" —Tiffany

12. A pastry tool you can use to divide dough, sure, but this is no one-use gadget. It's also designed with herb-stripping holes on top. And as an added bonus, there's a handy conversion chart right on the side!

Amazon

Promising review: "So I was skeptical, but I bought it because I thought it was cool to have the veggie/herb stripper and its width. What I didn't consider was the angle of it, that it's not just a straight cutter. I love to cook on my cast iron skillets and it has been AMAZING scraping while I cook with my Oxo skillet spatula. It's super easy to hold, and I'm able to scrape up hashbrowns (this morning) with ease with the angle. I've also chopped onions and nuts on the cutting board when I got lazy with the knife. I don't know about you, but I get slippery lizard fingers in the kitchen. I like the feel of the textured wood that doesn't slip out of my hand, not the cold, slick metal." —I Sing to Yahuah

It's teeny tiny but a whopping 1,800-watt air fryer (meaning it can cook a 7.5-pound chicken without breaking a sweat). AND...you get to watch it all happen. I'm such a sucker for this unnecessarily cool design.

This one is small and lightweight; it's easy to pull out the probe, and the temperature is very easy to read. I purchased several as stocking stuffers for Christmas – just three months away! I highly recommend getting several with the holidays coming up. They make a gift that will be appreciated for its size and ease of use, but, most importantly, it will be a gift that gets used instead of put away in the closet." —Kat29
