2. A vacuum-free space-saving compression bagso easy to use that all you have to do is stick your clothes inside, zip up the bag, roll the bag, and watch all the excess air get squished out of them until your clothes magically shrink. Yes, maybe it's only a weekend trip, but some of us need OPTIONS!!

Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

HELLO, I AM OBSESSED WITH THESE. Despite all the rave reviews, I was definitely skeptical of space-saving bags that didn't require a vacuum, and even as they were actively squishing my clothes into oblivion, I still couldn't quite believe it. I had easily two suitcases worth of clothes I wanted to pack for a three-week trip to London, and I managed to neatly pack the entirety of my wardrobe in one roller carry-on bag. Truly, all I had to do was put my clothes in the bag, push them to the bottom, and then sit on it to get the air out before sealing it up. I had tons of extra bags and made a habit of taking them with me in case other people joining me on trips need them to be able to pack souvenirs on the way home. I'm never taking a long trip without these again — these are worth every damn penny.

Psst — just note that airlines will still enforce weight limits, so don't fly TOO close to the sun packing these up!!

Promising review: "I bought this nifty gadget about six months ago for a multi-leg, ultra-long-haul trip, and it more than held up the entire duration. I was able to finagle it to fit the tray tables on different planes, and like others, I find the height just nice when clamped onto a stowed tray table. It also works on my roller carry-on handle during layovers." —Earendil

Airplane Pockets is a small business that specializes in sanitary, portable travel organization products.

I used this on a roundtrip from NYC to Tokyo, both with connecting flights in Canada, and cannot sing its praises enough. It fit all four of the different tray tables I used it on and was so ridiculously handy for keeping track of all my littler odds and ends like AirPods, the plane's headphones, earplugs, a sleep mask, a book, gum, a scrunchie, and little snacks. The hanging end of it easily tucked into the built-in sleeve of the seat in front of me for takeoff and when other passengers needed to scoot past me in my aisle seat. Usually, I feel like a hot mess and get frustrated rooting around in the grimy sleeve for my stuff, and this was such a refreshing solution! Several flight attendants even asked where I got it to buy one for themselves!

7. A travel "flossing" toothbrush with two layers of bristles — regular firm bristles, and longer ones that are ten times thinner to clean deep in between your teeth and gums to mimic flossing. Reviewers love how deep the clean feels, and also how soft it is on sensitive teeth!

Amazon

Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans even patients with "great" dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines.

I've been using the regular-size version of this for over a year now and I LOVE it! I used to use an electric toothbrush, but I feel like I'm getting a much more satisfying clean from these — especially because I tend to get yellow stains between my teeth no matter *how* much I floss, and these bristles seem to actually target that a lot more effectively. My teeth feel genuinely ~squeaky clean~ after I use this, too.

Promising review: "This toothbrush is a new staple item for my on the go Invisalign bag. When I need to brush my teeth and don't have time to floss before putting my aligners back in, this brush makes sure my teeth and mouth feel clean and removes debris in-between my teeth. The bristles are soft, this toothbrush is sturdy and the different lengths of bristles help remove debris or help floss your teeth on the go. This brush also dries very fast in-between uses as well." —V. Brown

8. A weighted eye maskthat's basically like a weighted blanket for your human eyes, designed to decrease stress and encourage ~deep sleep~. They also feature a 3D contour, so they're hollowed out in the middle and won't rest right on top of your eyes.

Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

Promising review: "Love these. These are soft and very comfortable, and they seriously black out every bit of light. I love them. I would highly recommend. I’ll probably never sleep without them again." —AJ

I bought these at the last second for a flight when I lost my way more expensive sleep mask, and can safely say "good riddance" to that old pair — I love this version way more. It's perfectly contoured so it doesn't rub my eyes or mess up my makeup if I'm traveling, the weight is satisfying without being distracting, and it adjusts super quickly and easily without every getting caught in my hair. Also the pink is just absolutely precious, so my little Glinda x Barbie heart is most pleased to show it off.

Promising review: "I used this pillow on flights from the eastern U.S. coast to Hawaii and back. The pillow was very supportive, and I appreciated that I could use it to lie back or to the side. The fastener strings were a nice touch to keep it secure, especially while sleeping. I sat in the window and aisle seats, and the pillow worked great for both (i.e., don’t need a window seat to lean against the wall). I have chronic neck pain, and the pillow helped me manage the pain during the long flights!" —Katie Sandlin

Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

Check out aTikTok of the foot masks in action.

I'm a long-ish distance runner, and these were certainly an interesting experience for my feet! You slide them on and, after a few minutes, feel a tingling, mildly burning (in a good way) sensation. It doesn't quite numb your feet, but it relaxes them. I kept them on for 30 minutes and then toweled my feet off, and the tingling sensation slowly faded over the next 30 minutes. After that, my feet felt very refreshed and relaxed at a time of day when they're usually aching from all the miles I put in. The whole thing was a mess-free, easy process, and I will definitely keep them on hand for longer run days!

20. A pack of super lightweight collapsible travel hangers perfect for hotel rooms that only have two measly sad hangers or longer trips or camping excursions where you need an effective way to hang clothes up to dry.

Elizabeth Lilly/BuzzFeed, www.amazon.com

Here's whatBuzzFeeder Elizabeth Lilly has to say about them: "This is a product that I put in travel stories over and over and over again, and would always think, 'Hmm, I should buy some.' Once I booked my first-ever cruise, I knew that I needed to invest in these hangers to make the most of what I presumed would be a tiny closet for my cabin. These were super easy to slip into my super-packed suitcase and plenty sturdy for holding up a variety of stuff. In my pic above, you'll see one collapsed and then one in use, with dips perfect for spaghetti or thin straps. So many hotel and rental places' hangers don't have those little dips, and my slip dresses are always slipping off of them. With these, I was able to put a variety of garments on them without anything slipping off — in fact, they work better at that than my regular velvet hangers I have at home!"

Promising review: "They are so lightweight and yet so durable. I can’t say enough good things about them. I love the fact that they come in their own bag so that I wouldn’t have several hangers flying around my suitcase. I love that now I don’t have to worry about how many hangers the hotel has. Another big bonus is that if you decide to do laundry, you can now hang up your clothes to dry. The hangers are very light, and they add relatively nothing to the overall weight of my suitcase. It is the perfect solution for my travel needs." —P. Thomassen
