38 Parenting Products Other Parents Think Are Fantastic

“I have twin toddlers that are always touching my appliances. No fingerprints at all.” —just one of many glowing reviews from parents just like you!

by Heather Braga BuzzFeed BuzzFeed Staff

I'm a Shopping editor (and mom to two toddlers) who covers a variety of topics, including helpful parenting/kids products, exciting gadgets, cozy products (think: home goods and fashions that'll make you want to snuggle), and any magical Disney item that crosses my path.

Hellooooo parents!

Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

My name is Heather, and at the time I'm writing this, my son is 4, and my daughter is 2 (so you know I get *it*). So, a lot of these items I've personally tested out (a baby butt spatula, Bumkins washable bibs, Aquaphor healing ointment, a dual cup holder, and a lightweight Veer All-Terrain Cruiser stroller wagon, just to name a few.)

I can happily tell you *all* about what has worked for my family, but I kindly wanted to note that I'm aware every kid is different! So, what worked for me may not work for you. But hey, it's worth a shot. Right?

1. A toy storage organizer that'll help you fight the good fight against the Lego bricks, blocks, Little People toys, and cars that litter your playroom and cause you to trip over your own feet during cleanup time.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "These are amazing. They have helped so much with the toy clutter. I have one in each child's room and one in our loft/living space. The kids can easily clean up, and the toys end up in the right location. I love this!" —DeborahB

Get it from Amazon for $54.68+ (available in 13 styles).

2. And a handy toy storage bag — it must have been designed by a parent who stepped on one too many Lego bricks, raised their first in the air, and shouted, "NEVER AGAIN!!!!"

www.amazon.com

Creative QTis a small business!

Promising review: "My son had recently turned the house into a death trap with his Legos all over the floors. Walking anywhere barefoot became impossible because you would inevitably step on one and get it lodged in your foot. It got to the point where I was afraid to go anywhere at night because of the impending doom. Then we found this organizer, and since then, our lives have been saved. He can quickly and easily store all of his Legos in one place. We can now get all of them cleaned up in minutes and know that we can walk around the house in peace once again." —Chris

Get it from Amazon for $49.99(available in four colors).

3. Game board storage cases, so when your kids start wanting to collect Candyland and Guess Who? in a variety of themes, you won't have a stack of boxes piled up in the corner of your playroom — toss 'em in one of these cases, pop on a label, and carry-on with your life.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "We loved these containers and have now bought 20 to hold our entire game closet! We have been able to fit multiple games in some. Easy to store and easy for my kids to find and then put away when finished. Good quality, haven't had any problems with durability yet, and we play a LOT of games." —bradfieldfamily

Get a pack of 10 from Amazon for $54.49.

4. A car seat buckle release tool to save both your nails and your precious time! No one wants to struggle to open those (thankfully) extremely secure buckles while their kiddo is hitting a pitch that could likely break glass.

Chandni Reddy / Buzzfeed, www.amazon.com

This gadget doesn't attach to the car seat, so no need to fret about kiddos unbuckling themselves while you're driving. UnbuckleMe is a small business!

Promising review: "This is definitely perfect for the girlies with the long nails and I’m one of them. Life has never been so simple since I purchased this. I’m not fighting to get my baby out the car seat anymore." —Shakyra

Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in seven colors).

5. A leave-in conditioning spray for curly hair free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates that you can count on to revive your mini-me's precious curls after a wild night of sleep. Do not underestimate toddler bed head, my friends.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Reviewers say this spray will leave wavy or curly hair (from 2a–4c hair) shiny, soft, and bouncy. SoCozy is a small business!

Promising review: "You need this! My 2-year-old daughter has curly, frizzy hair. And I have tried sooo many leave-in conditioners to tame her hair. Nothing thus far has worked. But this stuff is amazing! Truly defines her curls without any hold or crunch. Soft, bouncy curls. The smell is quite strong, but it's pleasant. If you are sensitive to smells, you might want to prepare in advance. I will buy this again and again. So glad I found something that works for my toddler's curls." —mike

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

6. An earwax removal kit made with carbamide peroxide to help beckon out all of that yucky wax you've accidentally pushed further into their ear canal via cotton swabs (oops). The results might be jarring, but they will be oh-so-satisfying and will make it easier for doctors to check for their 100th ear infection of the winter (my kids' pediatrician recommended it to me for my tykes!)

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising reviews: "This is the perfect solution for gently cleaning ears from infants on up to adults. I started using this 8 years ago on my daughter, who was a toddler. I did NOT want to stick a cotton bud in her ear. Just a few drops in the ear; lie on your side to keep the liquid in for a few minutes; place a tissue under the ear when rolling onto the other side; and repeat the process. Please note: If there is too much wax in the ear and you put in too many drops, you may experience discomfort. This product will hydrate the wax, making it expand slightly. If you have concerns, just do two drops per ear and wait 3-4 days and repeat. Do not use more than twice a week. I use this on myself and my daughter once a month, works wonderfully. I highly recommend Debrox over any off-brand." —H Norman

"Worked great for my toddler. Her pediatrician recommended it because he said her ears were impacted. Used it for three days while watching videos, and the wax came out a few days later. Note: I did not irrigate her ears after use because I did not feel comfortable forcing water into her tiny ear canal. The wax worked itself out without being irrigated." —Luann

Get it from Amazon for $7.18.

7. Plus, an Oogiebear toolthat's confusingly kinda cute even though its purpose is *a bit* gross — to remove earwax and boogers safely from your little one. Does my daughter fight us like she's starring in Gladiator when we try to use this on her? Yes. But does it get the job done faster and more easily? Also, yes!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

I use this little tool to remove boogers from my kids' noses (which they absolutely hate). It's not an easy task because babies are VERY squirmy, but the Oogiebear definitely helps make the process go a bit more seamlessly. Absolutely recommend.

Promising review: "I mean, does my child love it? No. But does it take less than a second to use and get the boogers I'd expect Shrek to possess and not my 3-month-old baby? Yes, it does! He's happy as soon as it leaves his nostrils, which again only takes a second. And it's easy to clean!" —Kaitlyn Spires

Get it from Amazon for $9.98

8. A stainless steel cleaner you can count on to help you (temporarily) banish all of those sticky little toddler-sized fingerprints that have somehow made their way across your fridge and dishwasher....

www.amazon.com

This plant-based cleaner will remove streaks, smudges, and fingerprints from all stainless steel surfaces — sounds very therapeutic to me! Additionally, Therapy Clean is a small business!

Promising review: "This is by far the best stainless steel cleaner I have ever used. So easy to apply and I wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth. It lasts months and I have twin toddlers that are always touching my appliances. No finger prints at all. I highly recommend. Completely safe , no chemicals. Great product." —martha

Get it from Amazon for $19.95.

9. A jar of internet-beloved The Pink Stuff, which is an all-purpose cleaning paste that'll help you tackle all of your kid-made messes but make it *~pretty in pink~* at the same time. Your kiddo's attempt at Picasso-ing your walls won't scare this cleaning product. 😅

www.amazon.com, Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

After hearing what incredible things The Pink Stuff can do, I finally ordered it and tried it for myself. Honestly, wow! It really does work wonders. I tried it first on my Le Creuset cast iron pan and was really amazed at how just one pass with The Pink Stuff (and a scouring brush) took off almost every stain! My toddler colored our play table blue with a crayon, and The Pink Stuff took it off INSTANTLY — it was incredible to watch!

Promising review: "A must-have fortoddlermoms! My 3-year-old recently decided to channel his inner Van Gogh on our stairwell wall, and red crayon was EVERYWHERE. I tried every possible cleaning solution, and nothing was getting it off. I heard about the Pink Stuff on TikTok and decided it was worth a shot. This stuff is a miracle worker! With a sponge and some elbow grease, I was able to remove all the crayon within 10 minutes. There’s absolutely no trace of the crayon left, and it didn’t ruin my paint!" —Casey Blaine

"If you have toddlers, this is a MUST! This stuff is amazing. It gets out crayon, ink, permanent marker, literally whatever way your toddler decides to unknowingly destroy your home — this stuff cleans it up. Will be giving this to all expectant parents as a gift from now on. Forget that cute onesie. They need this. 10/10" —Diana

Get it from Amazon for $5.97.

10. Miss Mouth's Messy Eater Stain Treater Spray you'll be very glad you bought after your kid's *~super fun auntie~* hands them a rainbow ice pop to chow down on in the hot summer sun. Siiiiigh.

Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

My 2-year-old is a big ice pop fan, so I've got a long life ahead of me to be filledwith stain removal. In the above photo, I held her while she sucked down a red ice pop on a 90-degree day. Naturally, it dripped all over my white tank top (note to self: stop wearing white around these kids). I was actually kind of excited because it meant I got to put my newly purchased bottle of Miss Mouth's Messy Eater Stain Treater Spray to the test! I followed the directions on the bottle that said to dampen the stained area, spray it with the stain remover, then pop it into the washing machine as usual. What do ya know — it really worked! Completely cleared away all the red stains! Not sure what witchcraft has been used to make this product, but I'm here for it.

Promising review: "My 1-year-old has taco meat stains ALL over the sleeves of his shirt. The stains were 2–3 days old, too. I sprayed the shirt, let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then washed the shirt with regular laundry soap. Almost every bit of the stains came out. Definitely buying bulk in this product!" —Sloan Avery

11. A bug bite suction tool (invented by a mom!) that sucks the irritating part right out of an insect bite with a pull of the plunger — it's so easy your kiddo can definitely do it themselves (if they stop screaming long enough because, duh, they got bit by a bug).

www.amazon.com

See it in action on TikTok.

Bug Bite Thingis a small business.

Promising review: "I saw this product on TikTok and had to get it. I’m super glad I did. My daughter and I always get a ton of mosquito bites, and this helps alleviate the itching as soon as you pull the suction back. It’s great." —Rebekka Talley

Get it from Amazon for $9.95+ (available in six colors and in packs of two or three).

12. A Hatch Baby Sound Machine you can count on to create the perfect sleeping environment for your little one (and, honestly, for anyone in your home!). You can carefully select which sound and lighting options you want before crossing your fingers and hoping your mini-me will bless you with some decent slumber.

www.amazon.com, Amazon

Any iteration of a Hatch sound machine will honestly do the trick, but the newest version is *~aesthetic~* and designed to perfectly fit in a nursery. When my kids were infants and sleeping in a bassinet in our room, we relied on the Hatch to help us all form a routine. It's fantastic because you can control both the lighting and sound of the devices on your phone with Hatch’s easy-to-use app. When we were still getting up for middle-of-the-night feedings and diaper changes, it was invaluable to be able to raise the light a bit while doing so, then quickly lower it once the baby had settled back into sleep. It’s also not harsh and has a bunch of color options. Once you choose your color, you can also toggle it to control just how vibrant you'd like it to be, so it’s been easy enough to find a brightness that suits our needs.

You can read my review of past versions here.

The newer Hatch Baby Sound Machine has a more intuitive top button that'll make it easier than ever to adjust settings while you're half asleep but trying to take care of a tiny human. It comes with a six-month trial subscription that includes sleep consultant chats, sleep guides, and additional special features.

Promising review: "We’ve been using the Hatch Rest since our baby was a newborn, and honestly, it’s become a non-negotiable part of our sleep routine. The brown noise is like magic — it helps drown out all the little household sounds and signals to our baby that it’s time to wind down. Now, when it’s on, she knows it’s bedtime. And honestly? It helps us sleep better too, but be careful in the very beginning with a newborn — we slept TOOOO good due to lack of sleep and were lucky my mom was there to feed and change her because we were dead to the world." —Ariel McAlpine

Get it from Amazon for $79.99 (available in four colors).

13. And/or a Baby Shusher because even though it may seem silly to buy a gadget that literally makes a sound you can make on your own for free, you'll be happy to have it come 2 a.m. when you're exhausted and *really* not in the mood to continue “shhh”ing repeatedly.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

The Baby Shusher is safe to use in a crib, has adjustable volume, and it can be set to make noise for 15- or 30-minute intervals. Additionally, it comes from a small business.

Promising review: "I was so tired of 'shushing.' Literally, I shushed so hard and for so long, it made me light-headed. My baby has serious FOMO and fights naps like the plague. This helps so much! Even during the worst fits, this helps calm her, and she's out in minutes. Great for the car too!" —Jami

Get it from Amazon for $34.99.

14. Aquaphor Healing Ointment — it'll be one of the most unexpected parenting holy grail items you'll use daily on your little one. It's unscented, preservative-free, and fantastic for healing sensitive skin. You know how in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Gus was always saying, "Put some Windex on it!" to fix all things? Well, that's about to be you with Aquaphor.

www.amazon.com

Anytime my kids have a little itchy bump or redness, we put some of this on to ease their discomfort. However, I primarily use it in place of a diaper cream. I've been lucky that my tykes haven't had much diaper rash, just the occasional redness or irritation from a diaper rubbing against their chunky legs the wrong way. Applying some Aquaphor is a quick and reliable fix! I have a tube in every diaper bag and at each diaper station!

I'd also be remiss not to mention that I use Aquaphor on myself, too. After both of my C-sections this tube was what I reached for (after an appropriate amount of healing) to soothe any itchiness or discomfort on my scar. It also works wonders on chapped lips!

Promising review: "I’ve been a fan of Aquaphor since my son was a newborn, and I still use it to this day. It’s truly a must-have in our home — gentle enough for baby skin yet effective for so many things, from dryness to minor cuts. I love how versatile it is and how well it keeps skin soft and protected. After all these years, it’s still my go-to healing ointment!" —KB Mom

Get it from Amazon for $12.97.

15. And a baby butt spatula you'll either laugh or cringe at but will thank your lucky stars that you thought to purchase it when you see how much nicer it is to apply diaper cream to your baby's booty with it instead of your finger. It has incredible suction on the bottom, so you can keep it right next to your changing pad without fear of it being kicked over by your unruly tot.

www.amazon.com

Both my mom and my mother-in-law poked fun at me for getting this lil' spatula but I have ZERO regrets. I love my kids more than life itself, but I am more than pleased to not have to put my finger in their butts after they've recently pooped and I think that is OKAY! I'd like to think they're also happier to have a lil' spatula do the job ANYWAYS! That being said, this lil' tool is fantastic as it's super easy to clean, doesn't waste any product, and suctions onto my changing table with ease.

Promising review: "If I could give this little tool 10 out of 5 stars I would!!! It makes the whole process of applying diaper rash ointment SOOOOO much easier. And this thing cuts down on how much diaper rash ointment is wasted because your fingers are not getting covered in ointment. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone with a baby!!!" —Hazel-91

Get it from Amazon for $5.99.

16. Frida Baby Natural Vapor Bath Bombs filled with eucalyptus and lavender, so when your little one inevitably does get sick, you'll be ready to go with a soothing bathtime edition that'll help clear their sinuses and relax their little body.

Amazon

My poor kids visited the pediatrician basically weekly the past winter thanks to a variety of illnesses (you name it; we probably had it). I tried quite a few products to help get them feeling a bit better when they were feverish, snotty, coughing, etc, and these vapor bombs did the trick. I would toss one into a pre-bedtime bath and let the soothing scent open up my kids' nostrils/soothe their achy little bodies. My son wasn't a fan until I let him pop them into this "magic brush" and encouraged him to "paint" with the fizzy bubbles. Whatever works, amiright?!

Promising review: "Will forever be keeping these on hand! My daughter loves her 'bath fizzy' and requests them now. Bought them originally when she was sick with RSV to help open her up before bed, but they have become essential around here. She definitely seems to sleep better when we use them during bath/before bed! The smell is great and not overwhelming." —B Reese

Get a pack of 10 from Amazon for $19.99.

17. Bumkins washable bibs that'll turn mealtime into a fashion show (hehe) while also protecting your little one's clothes from all kinds of gross baby food stains. Pop culture fans, look no further! These come in so many fun styles you won't know which ones to order first.

Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

My son has these bibs in a variety of styles: Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Mickey Mouse. They're super cute and make for silly photos, but best of all, they can be easily rinsed off or thrown into the washing machine. I've put the bibs in with his regular laundry and then dried them on cool — they come out nice 'n' clean. I've loved them so much it was a no-brainer to get my daughter her own Disney Princess set!

We also have a Bumkins Nintendo-themed splat mat I simply could not live without, as it catches all the food debris my son tosses over the edge of his highchair.

Promising review: "This is easy to put on and easy to clean. We just rinse, wipe, and dry. I can see our son may be able to take it off one day, but that's part of the process. I like how light it is compared to the silicone bibs we have." —hmfan24

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $13.95+ (available in 22 styles and sets).

18. A dual cup holder that'll ensure you always have a spot for your emotional support coffee *and* your phone — attaches easily to strollers, bikes, wheelchairs, and scooters (one reviewer even attached it to their lawn mower!). It's so sturdy your drink won't go flying even if you absentmindedly roll over a HUGE bump in the sidewalk.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

One of my mom besties had this on her stroller and I immediately was like, "Welp, NEED." I ordered one and never looked back — it attaches tightly and can be adjusted to any angle. In a desperate attempt to keep both my baby and my toddler content, I spent the majority of my maternity leave on walks around my neighborhood — it was ESSENTIAL to have a solid spot to put my drink and also my phone (we needed music, of course). This one was so great I ordered a second one for our other stroller.

Promising review: "I ordered this with low hopes because I feel like stroller cup holders are always so flimsy. I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this cup holder! You can attach it to any bar, no matter the direction it goes, as it is adjustable. It was easy to attach. It holds my large 42-oz cup with no problem. I do have to remove my wallet from my phone to put in the phone compartment. I'll be ordering another for our leisure stroller!" —Jeanette Rojas

Get it from Amazon for $9.98 (available in 26 colors).

19. An iconic Sophie the Giraffe teether your little one will, for unexplained reasons, likely cherish and love chomping away on as their pearly whites start to (painfully) poke through.

Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

Sophie the Giraffe has become a valued member of our family. I ran out to buy it when my son started teething (badly) as he simply refused every other type of teether we already had (of course). I was skeptical as to why a toy giraffe would cost over $30, but I soon learned it clearly had magical powers. Sophie has apparently been around for over 55 years (who knew!) and is made entirely of natural rubber. She has various chewable parts (ears, horns, and legs) that Noah was able to grasp onto himself way easier than any other teether. She's becoming my go-to baby shower gift, and, of course, I re-purchased her for my daughter who now has teeth coming through.

PSA: Do not wash Sophie with water or if you do, do not get water into the squeaker hole! I've seen a number ofTikTok videos noting that if you do this the inside can potentially get moldy.

Promising review: "I was super hesitant to spend $25 on a teething toy. It’s honestly just a regular squeaker toy, but the other reviews were spot-on, and my child absolutely LOVES his Sophie. Something about that rubbery smiley giraffe is just so darn appealing to babies. She is without a doubt one of his very favorite toys, especially once he started teething." —Courtnee Thompson

Get it from Amazon for $31.99 (available in six styles).

20. A Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced parents will be able to rely on to help them make their baby a bottle in a flash — which is *much* appreciated when they're screaming their head off because they've decided they're hungry. I've literally told every single parent or parent-to-be in my life that THIS machine is what's keeping me going — it is the light of my life (next to my kids, of course).

Amazon, Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

THIS machine is what kept me going during my kids' first years. It's truly the number one item I couldn't have lived without. Literally, I would happily spend my last penny on this product because it has made that much of a difference in my life over the last few years.

It’s essentially a Keurig for baby bottles. It can mix the formula with the proper amount of water and dispense it at the *perfect* temperature for the baby. It has a button so I can easily choose how many ounces to put in a bottle, depending on how recently the baby has eaten. Sometimes we only needed 2 ounces instead of 4 ounces, etc. The bottle settings stay in place, so while my baby was screaming, I just had to place a bottle under the dispenser and hit the “start” button. It’s so easy, I was able to literally do it with one hand while holding my kid.

The spout has to be cleaned every four bottles, which I just do with hot water and a paper towel, and the water needs to be refilled once a day (like a Keurig). Other than that, all I had to do was ensure the formula container was filled. My husband set it up like a baby bar cart in the nursery so we didn't have to stumble down our stairs to the kitchen, bleary-eyed and half asleep, in the middle of the night. It really was a godsend and I don’t know what I’d do without it!

Promising review: "The Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced has been a lifesaver! I honestly don’t know how I managed without it. It makes my life so much easier — I can prepare a perfectly mixed, warm bottle within seconds of my baby getting fussy. No more measuring, no more shaking bottles in the middle of the night, and no more worrying about clumps or temperature." —Maybry Marquez

Get it from Amazon for $229.97.

21. A travel bottle warmer that'll keep your baby's brew hot for HOURS and without having to be plugged in. (Wow!) It'll work with bottles of all sizes and ensure you're ready to roll when your kiddo starts screaming in *~hangry~*.

Amazon, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "EXCELLENT travel bottle warmer!!!! We love this warmer and use it almost every single time we leave the house!!! The water stays hot for hours!! The longest we have done is about 6–8 hours, and each time, it is still piping hot and steaming when I pour it, and it heats my daughter's bottle up easily in just a few minutes! Seriously, 5 stars!"—ELMA16

Get it from Amazon for $13.99.

22. A Zak Designs BPA-free, leak-proof cup your kiddo will adore because of their fun designs, and you'll love because they'll actually fit in a cup holder! They really and truly do not leak (phew), so when your toddler shakes it upside down (and they will), you won't have a fountain of water to mop up.

Amazon, Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

I cannot even begin to tell you just how many toddler cups I've tried out with my kids before settling on these. The cups really don't leak, my kids can't open/close them for fun, they've done with flip-top cups, and they have no issue using the straw (I think because it's thicker than most!). I personally like that they come in a bunch of fun styles. My favorite feature, however, is that I can toss it into the dishwasher for easy cleaning! My daughter recently got the Elmo/Cookie Monster set for her birthday and insists on using BOTH at once.

Promising review: "They don't leak or volcano everywhere! It's taken so long and so many different straw cups, but we finally found ones that don't make a huge mess, even when our son is trying to make a mess!" —A. Smith

Get a set of two from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in 20 styles)

23. An elephant sprayer you'll adore because it'll keep your kiddo entertained for the duration of bath time and provide you with an easier way to wash soap off of them/ out of their hair — however, consider yourself warned, they can potentially turn this adorable hose on you at any given moment. 😅

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

This gadget is both a blessing and a curse. On the very positive side, my son loves it! He uses it to fill up cups, "clean" his toys, and tickle his own feet (adorable). I've used it to thoroughly wash both of my kids' hair and rinse soap suds off of them in bubble baths. However, I gotta warn any fellow parents that there is a VERY high chance you'll get sprayed by your child at SOME point once they enter the toddler years. If you don't mind getting a little wet on occasion, this toy is a 10/10.

Promising review: "A baby registry must-have! I saw this item on TikTok and knew I had to have it! It’s great for all ages! My 3-month-old loves it, and so does my 5-year-old! All you need are batteries and then you're good to go!" —brittany

Get it from Amazon for$24.95+ (available in five colors).

24. A battery-operated stroller fanwith a flexible handle so you can adjust it to keep your mini-me at the perfect temperature while heading out on a stroll. Honestly, buy two so you can *also* enjoy some sweet relief — you're the one pushing that stroller uphill, after all!

www.amazon.com

Reviewers have also attached it to their little one's cribs and car seats for extra airflow. I personally used one on my stroller during my son's first summer (he was about three months old at the time) and bought a second one when my daughter was born. Now, both kids enjoy a nice lil' breeze when we walk in warmer weather.

Promising review: "This little fan has changed my life! I bought this for Disney, and now I use it all the time. I had gotten this fan for the stroller and four little handheld fans. If I had the space, I would have bought four of these. It is lightweight, easily attached, has flexible legs, a powerful fan, and Bluetooth, too! I set it up as a phone stand for the kids while they waited for food, cooled everyone off all day, and charged it at the end of the day. We used it off and on daily, not continuously. Now I use it in my girls' room when it’s stuffy and set a timer if needed. It has speed controls, too. It’s a great product 100% recommend to every parent or anyone needing a portable fan." —Robert

Get it from Amazon for $16.99 (available in four colors).

25. A parent favorite Dagne Dover Indi Neoprene Diaper Backpack with enough room to fit everything from bottles and diapers to back-up outfits and your tyke's lovey. Headed to the park? More like Compliment City when the other parents see you toting this beauty!

Dagne Dover

Huffington Post Managing Editor Emily Ruanehas had this bag for more than FOUR YEARS. She said, "Before having kids and realizing the importance of a good diaper bag, I probably would have thought that this fully equipped Dagne Dover backpack was a pretty big splurge. I was lucky to receive it as a gift, but I can tell you that after using it for almost four years, it is splurgeWORTHY. Having a durable and roomy bag like this one — especially one that can be worn as a backpack! — was absolutely crucial when my kids were babies and toddlers, especially for our particular childcare experience. My kids are very close in age, and we had a full-time nanny from the time my oldest daughter was four months old until she was about four years old. She preferred to take my kids outside from morning until late afternoon, so it was really important that our diaper bag could hold EVERYTHING — diapers, a changing pad (we had Dagne Dover’s Joey roll-up), bottles, snacks, a change of clothes — so that our caregiver could take everything she needed to keep two babies/toddlers safe, well-fed and entertained all day long. It also had to be extremely comfortable for her to wear, and luckily, this bag was. It’s so spacious that I’d usually use it as luggage for my kids when we traveled, stuffing in extra clothes, books and toys for weekends away."

Promising review: "I’m so impressed with this diaper bag! The large size holds everything my baby needs with room to spare, and the organization is fantastic. The book is recommended for ages 5–8, but when my son was nearly 3, he was already cackling at how silly it is!

Promising reviews: "Our 4-year-old is always pestering us to 'let me see the pictures' of her books every night, making storytime drag on forever, so I thought this would be great to chill her out at bedtime. Heather Braga / BuzzFeed, www.amazon.com

Note: Children still need supervision while using them, of course.

Tovla is a small business that makes kids' cooking products. My son has these, and I'm honestly surprised at how well they cut. They aren't sharp to the touch, but they easily slice through fruits, veggies, and toast! He loves feeling like he's helping in the kitchen, and it keeps him busy so we can get the rest of the meal done at the same time. He often uses them to cut bell peppers, which stain the knives a little bit. I simply toss 'em in the dishwasher and they come out good as new!

Promising review: "Highly recommend these for safety, sturdiness, quality, and life skill reasons. These have been amazing for practicing cutting for my daughter. She’s been using them almost two years now since she was 2 years old. A must-purchase if you’re looking to introduce a practical life skill especially to a young child!!" —Ciandra

For starters, my sister has slept on them as a bed when visiting for a bit, my kids (obviously) lounge on them when watching TV, and we've used them for imaginative play (a cash register stand, to build forts, as a base for Magna-Tile builds, etc). 32. A Frida Baby fold-and-go potty seat that'll bring you peace of mind, knowing your toddler's tush never has to touch a grime-filled public toilet. It comes with a travel bag that'll fit easily in your diaper bag or regular tote bag if you're just running a quick errand with your toddler.

Amazon, www.amazon.com

While potty training my toddler, the hardest part was definitely his need to pee whenever we're out of the house. I ordered this seat, and it's become an essential item in any bag I carry. It folds up nice and small; it's not bulky to toss in a tote bag or the diaper bag. I can whip it out quickly (ideally before he has an accident) and pop it onto any toilet seat. We've used it in the airport, at my parents' house, and in several stores and restaurants. I wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe after we use it and move on to the next chaotic moment of our day. We decided it made sense to send one directly to my parents' house for safekeeping so he'll have a familiar seat to *do his business* on even when we're not home.

Promising review: "My toddler loves her little training potty, but would not sit on regular toilets at home or elsewhere. I purchased this foldable potty seat and started using it at home so she would get comfortable with it, which helped her use it outside the home. I love that it puts a barrier between her and the public bathroom seats. It is a very good quality design. It's easily foldable and stable. It has a rubber lip around the edge to keep it from slipping on the toilet seat when my toddler sits on it. No leakage or complaints. It's easy to clean or wipe down on the go. Would 100% recommend to all my mom friends." —Jess

33. A travel urinal — a saving grace for when your child, once again, has to pee while you're out and about, even though you *JUST* asked them 10x if they had to go. It'll be a much better option than having to change all of their clothes and clean the car seat because you couldn't get to a bathroom in time (been there).

www.amazon.com, Amazon

I ordered this for my son after encouraging him to pee in an empty coffee cup behind our car (don't judge me). We use it CONSTANTLY. Genuinely, almost anytime we leave the house, despite going potty right before we leave, he will ask to use this during an outing. It's easy to dump out/clean and does exactly what it should. Can't ask for anything more than that!

Promising review: "I purchased this for my son and our long car trips. How many times can we pull over to potty on a three-and-a-half-hour car trip? Ask my 4-year-old. When I saw this, I couldn't resist. We brought it along, and when he had to pee, no problem. It's only a little gross when you dump it later. Well designed, definitely recommend." —Evan

Check out how easy it is to apply sunscreen with this clever gadget in this TikTok.

Solar Buddies is a small business based in the UK, founded by two moms who set out to develop a product that would make applying sunscreen to kiddos easier. As a parent myself, I can confirm this gadget is fantastic. He loved being "painted," and I loved knowing applying sunscreen wasn't going to be a fight.

Promising review: "I hesitated, but I originally saw this item on TikTok and knew it would make life SO MUCH easier when it comes to putting sunscreen on myself and my kids, and I have to say, I am NOT disappointed!! The sunscreen goes on so smoothly and evenly, and I feel like I will be saving so much now that I'm not just squirting a huge glob into my hands and spending so much time trying to rub in a ridiculous amount into my and my children's skin.
