Luke Hemmings and Sierra Deaton made their sweetest collaboration to date.

The 5 Seconds of Summer singer and his wife announced that they privately welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

“Our best kept secret,” Luke and Sierra shared in an Aug. 22 joint Instagram post that included photos of their baby’s feet and hands, Sierra showing off her baby bump during a floral-themed maternity shoot and a video of Luke kissing his wife’s stomach. “Written and Produced by Sierra and Luke Hemmings.”

Luke, 29, and Sierra, 34, did not share any further details including their baby’s name or birthday. However, the “She Looks So Perfect” singer revealed why they decided to get ahead of the news.

“In our perfect world, we’d keep our daughter a secret forever…for similar reasons we chose to never share our wedding photos from years ago,” Luke wrote in the comments. “However, going into this next album cycle I’m very aware that her existence would inevitably leak. To avoid any speculation, we’re posting this now and humbly asking for everyone to respect her privacy.”

Luke also asked fans to respect specific boundaries.

“If you see us in public, please avoid taking or sharing photos of her as we don’t plan on publicizing her name, birthdate or face anytime in the near future,” he wrote. “Thank you for understanding and for the support. All our love, the Hemmings.”

Luke and Sierra have kept the details of their romance largely private since it began in 2018. In 2021, the “Youngblood” singer revealed that he proposed to his longtime love.

“With shaking hands but a full heart I proposed to my best friend earlier this year,” he wrote June 2021 alongside a photo of Sierra showing off her sparkler while holding his face. “I love you Thao and I can’t imagine my life without you @sierradeaton.”

Luke revealed that him and Sierra quietly tied the knot almost three years later. When complimented on his eye makeup during his appearance alongside his band, Luke spilled the beans.

“Thank you! My wife did it,” he told Entertainment Tonight in an interview alongside bandmates Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin at the time. “Usually I do it for stage but she’s taught me well and she did it tonight. It’s a big event so she did it.”

When asked about married life, Luke coyly replied, “It’s very good. I love it.”
