As a Deputy Editorial Director for BuzzFeed’s shopping team, I love to get into the weeds of why a product’s worth the money by deep diving into customer reviews, and product-testing as much as possible.

There are some things that'll outlive us all (like the Vera Bradley duffel bag I got for high school graduation), and then there are others that may have the potential to last for years, but you feel pretty meh about them and consider decluttering them after a few uses. From a tower fan that'll seriously cool off your bedroom this summer to a Skims-like shirt in a rainbow of colors (that I own and love), I rounded up some finds you'll want to keep around as long as possible. Time to switch gears from your vacation to Regretsville.

1. A set of seamless "invisible" underwear that are an awful lot like pricier versions from Victoria's Secret you always wait 'til a sale to stock up on. Now you won't have to do math to figure out how much longer you can put off laundry based on what undies are clean. I have and love these!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "These are my new favorite. They are comfortable and do not show under all my clothes. They are super soft too and hold up all day without gapping. I have been buying Victoria’s Secret underwear for many years, spending unnecessary money. I’ll repurchase these over and over again." —Joshua

If you prefer thongs, check out these Skims-inspired thongs that are also on Amazon!

Get a set of six from Amazon for$17.99 (available in women's sizes XS–XL and 12 sets).

2. Kitsch's Scalp Renewal Brush that'll help you work smarter, not harder, on your Everything Shower days. It exfoliates and rids your scalp of oiliness and build-up, and targets dandruff so all that post-shower hair product can work to its full potential. Seriously, why splurge on the Color Wow Supernatural Spray if it's just going on top of old hair product build-up? (Psst, a head-over-heels reviewer actually ditched their Wet Brush for this!)

www.amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "I was not expecting this brush to be so amazing. I usually use a Wet Brush, and NO MORE of that. This one doesn't pull when the Wet Brush did. Feels amazing on my scalp. Just a very refreshing brush to find. I would definitely recommend this to everybody who has a hard time brushing their hair (even kids), very soft, and the price is excellent as well. Love love love this brush. Would definitely buy again and again." —Katy Shoemaker

Get it from Amazon for $7.99 (available in four colors).

3. A viral 5-in-1 Edgelift Curl Brush can help you finally nail some definition in your curls, waves, or coils if that always feels just a BIT out of reach. (I can relate.) There are lots of fans of all hair types and parents *especially* rave about it because it makes detangling gentler and quicker!

Amazon

Bounce Curl is a small business that specializes in curl brushes.

Promising review: "Best brush hands down, I am a mixed girl with thick curly hair, and when I run this brush through my hair wet, it does magic. My curls after using this in the shower to detangle are amazing, then I use my choice of product to style it row by row, and it gives me bouncy curls that help cover more scalp but separate effectively. It's extremely sturdy. I break brushes all the time, and this one lasts!!!" —Janay K

Get it from Amazon for $29.99(available in four colors).

4. A seamless scallop-detail jelly bra that'll be super supportive and full coverage. An extra supportive bra can still be cute! Now you'll finally *get* why everyone raves about jelly bras.

Amazon, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "As a petite woman with a larger bust, well-fitted and comfortable bras are hard to come by. This one is so comfortable and cute and I really like the way the clasps are sort of magnetic. It makes it easier to find the right hook while uncomfortably reaching your arms completely behind your back, lol." —Amber Way

Get it from Amazon for $18.97+ (available in sizes S–3XL and in 11 colors).

5. A suuuuuper soft basic tee that reviewers think is preeeeeeetty similar to the $48 Skims tee. It comes in so many colors and I can vouch for its comfort. I bought it in both black and white last year, and wear them as my travel shirts. And they wash very well!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "Best shirt for everyday casual, pair with a blazer, or use for a workout. I love the soft feel and being form-fitting without feeling restricting. It also doesn’t wrinkle easily, which makes it great for travel!" —Mermaid Mamma

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $12.99 (also available in a pack of four).

11. Or a set of Sea Bands with a little nub that'll target the acupressure point on your wrists meant to help reduce nausea. This'll be great in case anyone gets motion sick in the car or on a boatride.

www.amazon.com

I bought these more than a year ago before I went on my first-ever cruise, but didn't need to use them. They've been kicking around the front pocket of my go-to travel backpack since, so I had them handy when I recently went on a driving-heavy (we're talking 1,600+ miles over five days) trip with my parents. My mom suffers from vertigo and it was really hitting her once we set out on the road. I remembered I had these, and she switched to the back seat and wore them the whole trip because they made such a big difference! Now, did it make driving up the side of the Colorado National Monument's Rim Rock Drive with 23 miles of switchbacks and soaring heights less scary? Eh. Idk. But it made it less woozy! (The drive is absolutely worth it, btw.)

Promising review: "FLIGHT ATTENDANT APPROVED! They work. 100% of the time." —Jessica

12. A reusable roller dog hair remover will have you tossing your old sticky roller after you see how much fur this reusable one (it has a sturdy brush system) picks up off your beloved couch that both you and your dog basically live on.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

See the ChomChom roller in action on TikTok

And check out this ~glowing~ review from my colleague Jenae Sitzes: "The tens of thousands of 5-star Amazon reviews are reason enough to add the ChomChom to your cart immediately — but let me add my own personal review to the stack. I've been using the ChomChom for quite a while now, but I took the photos above literally just now to show just how quick, easy, and effective this roller is. It took 10 seconds to rid my velvet couch ottoman (yes, velvet...a terrible cat owner choice, I know) of the hair my two gray kitties are constantly leaving everywhere. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of using this roller — at first, I thought you only brushed down in one direction, and was confused why it wasn't picking up hair. It's important to do a push-and-pull brushing in *both* directions so it actually pulls the hair inside, which does require you to apply a bit of pressure. Afterward, you'll just dump out the hair that's been trapped inside. The ChomChom is best for large flat surfaces like couches and beds."

Get it from Amazon for $24.95

13. An adorable three-piece nesting bakeware set to help you whip up all kinds of delish things at home (and possibly have your favorite pizza place do a wellness check). www.amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "The quality was much better than I anticipated. The sizes were also bigger than I thought. They work perfectly from fridge to oven to table." —Kathy

Get it from Amazon for$39.99 (available in seven colors).

14. A set of reusable microfiber mop pads (that'll work with the Swiffer you already own) because WOW those disposable ones seem to disappear like magic in your home. No more running out in your time of need.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

They can be used wet or dry and on basically every type of flooring and even drywall if you're so inclined. Since they can be thrown in the wash, one microfiber pad can replace up 100 single-use pads.

Promising review: "Just used these for the first time with my Swiffer WetJet and I gotta say I am impressed! Went on easily and cleaned the floors easily! I always hated the one-time use pads and never felt like they got my floor clean. This review is NOT sponsored, I bought these with my own money because I’m sick of single-use products. Seriously, buy these now!!!" —AKGross

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

I own one of these and it is SO handy for travel, and just to throw in my bag when I know I'm gonna be away from home or my desk all day.

Promising review: "My husband and I travel a lot and take a number of prescription drugs. It was always a hassle accessing our medication when needed, so I purchased this organizer to make things easier. I used a label maker and labeled each little compartment and it has performed wonderfully. I highly recommend this organizer to anyone who travels and needs medications throughout the day." —Jacqueline

I do use nursery pots so I can keep an eye on the roots, but the fact that there is a drainage hole is nice. It feels sturdy and not cheaply made. I think this is an excellent value — it’s one of my favorite pots!" —Elisabeth

Get it from Amazon for $19.96 (available in four designs).

17. A bug bite suction tool that'll help you out with existing bites to remove the irritating venom, and help reduce itchiness, pain, and swollenness. Plus it works on other insect stings. Think about all the scratching you could've saved yourself!

Amazon, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times — so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. It arrived on Monday and on Tuesday morning I woke up with a bug bite on my arm. I used this little tool (3x per the instructions) and documented with photos. Immediately after using, it stopped itching! And less than 24 hours later the bump/bite was gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing but a small price to pay IMO. Bottom line: It’s awesome. I’m carrying it with me everywhere!" —Rebecca

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I bought this because I have the outlandish idea that my refrigerator will look just like those on TikTok, but I am pleasantly surprised to find that it keeps my cold cuts fresher for much longer than expected. It's large enough to hold a pound or more of cold cuts or cheese, which is a bonus. The sealing technology is superb and strong. At one point, I almost could not open the container due to the seal being so airtight. Not only does this product look good in my fridge, but it is saving me money, so definitely a win-win for me." —IrishEyes

20. A screen-cleaning brush that'll tackle icky messes like unwelcome bugs, dust, and more messing with your picturesque view on mesh screens. They're just SO hard to clean.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "Our screens are on a second-floor balcony. There really isn't any good way to clean the outside of the screens. Luckily, the fibers on this screen cleaner are small enough that they seem to fit through the screen and clean both sides. I'm sure it doesn't clean the outside as well as it does the inside, but any help is always appreciated. I was actually shocked at how much dirt came off of the screens with this very simple tool. I used it wet with a small amount of dish soap, and it worked really well. I also appreciated that after I was finished I was just easily able to rinse and dry the screen cleaner for future use. A simple tool at an excellent price." —BonjourBeautyByAmy

www.amazon.com

Check out aTikTok of the Dreo tower fan in action.

My colleague Emma Lord is a huge fan: "I live in an apartment with a wall air-conditioning unit that simply DOES NOT do the trick when it's 90+ degrees outside. This gizmo is an absolute lifesaver. The air actually feels COOL, and it's so quiet that if the air weren't blowing on me, I wouldn't even know it was on. I love how adjustable the fan speed is and that you have options to let it rotate or not, because I work from home and I am very picky about my working environment. I also appreciate how modern and sleek it looks! You hardly notice it, despite it being so tall."

Promising review: "I am INCREDIBLY sensitive to noisy fans when I’m trying to sleep at night. Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

File this as another item that I've included in what feels like a million travel stories and finally tried out for myself. I always thought, "Why bother with a razor that's not THAT much smaller than a regular one?" Then I booked my first cruise and heard a bunch of horror stories about limited cabin and bathroom space. It didn't take up too much room on the minuscule shower shelf so I wasn't fighting for space *as* much while feeling like Buddy The Elf in the shower.

37. A stainless-steel tongue scraper to help you kick sour wafts to the curb FAR better than your toothbrush. If you've never used one, it's TRULY disturbing the first time you make a pass with one and then realize that your toothbrush can only do so much. Oh and because this is stainless steel, sterilizing by dipping it in boiling water is easy-peasy!

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "Unfortunately, I, like many, suffer from bad breath and have tried so many things to stop it. I read that sometimes it's the germs on your tongue that can cause it, so I went crazy trying to brush my tongue. Of course, we all know how that ends — gagging, watery eyes, and it still looks like that gross film is on your tongue. I finally decided that maybe it was time to get a tongue cleaner, and it had to be a stainless steel one because they are easier to clean and sterilize. This product is really easy to use, and I can get very far back on my tongue without activating my gag reflex. Also, it doesn't have the feeling that brushing with a toothbrush does. This cleaner just glides across my tongue, taking all the icky germs and bad breath with it. I love my nice new fresh breath and bolster of confidence!" —jordanlauren

Get it from Amazon for $9.97.

38. Some expandable hangers will help you better organize all your beautiful ensembles *and* have a legit place to hang up any clothes you launder while you're on your luxurious two-week vacation.

Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

I took these on a cruise. They were super easy to slip into my super-packed suitcase and plenty sturdy for holding up a variety of stuff. In my pic above, you'll see one collapsed and then one in use, with dips perfect for spaghetti or thin straps. So many hotel and rental places' hangers don't have those little dips, and my slip dresses (I own four of this one!) are always slipping off of them. With these, I was able to put a variety of garments on them without anything slipping off — in fact, they work better at that than my regular velvet hangers I have at home!

BuzzFeed writer Emma Lord is a big fan of this brand! Here is what she has to say about their pieces:

"For what it's worth, Pavoi — the company behind this piece — has gone TikTok viral time and time again for its classic, modern, and expensive-looking pieces. I personally own almost all my 'daily wear' jewelry from Pavoi and swear by it. Everything is so easy to accessorize and makes my outfits look and feel so much more put together, and the pieces are so durable that they're easily worth twice what I paid. Check out the rest of Pavoi's line of jewelryfor more options, including earrings, bracelets, and anklets!"

Promising reviews: "Soooo pretty. It’s 100% a Swarovski [alternative] for so cheap. Looks exactly like the photo, and I wear it every day." —Trysten Walters

"I just lost my very real gold tennis bracelet. I’ve heard good things about this company and decided to order one that looked like the one I lost. It just came in, and it looks as nice as my real one. I don’t know how it will do as time goes, but for $19, it’s a great buy." —Alina

Promising review: "Where do I start? I absolutely LOVE this product. I wanted to replace our bathroom mirror, but due to the size, it would have cost a lot! I came across this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. The application process was super easy and applied without bubbles as long as you go slow and rub it down as you go. I kid you not. It looks like wood and feels like it, too! You can feel and see the 'wood grain.' It’s absolutely stunning and looks like I bought a whole new mirror." —Taylor

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "First off, it’s so cute! But it’s also functional. It’s pretty lightweight. It has a strap right on it for carrying, so that works great. Also, when you fold it up, there’s a small strap closure to keep it from unfolding. It has a drink spot that can also fit my phone. There is a phone holder, but your phone will stick up above the armrest. The rocking feature is really nice as well. No complaints with this chair, honestly!" —Amy

I don’t have a dishwasher, so my roommates and I were using them daily, and they lasted about a month and a half each before we deemed them too gross to use anymore (although I’m sure you could use them for longer). 44. A pooper scooper mightseem like a prank gift. But will go to TOWN on all those piles your dog leaves in your yard without you haveing to bend down and minimize contact.

Amazon

Promising review: "With three dogs, two small and one large, scooping the yard is a never-ending job. But with the Arm & Hammer swivel bin and rake, there is no more bending to pick up the doggy droppings. I am able to easily use the rake to push the droppings into the bag covered bin. When I am done cleaning up the yard, I just simply remove the plastic bag from the scoop, tie it off, and dispose. I do spray the rake off with the hose sprayer and then clip the rake onto the scooper for easy storage. I really like this handy scooper. It makes a very icky job much easier to handle." —Kelly Eldred

My colleague Emmaloves these: I own a pair of these, and because I'm vain as heck and need to own all things pink, but I was decently surprised by how well they muffle noise! I feel like these are ideal for people who still want to hear some of the world around them (read: parents, people working in open offices), but still want to listen to their tunes comfortably. The charge on these goes for at least four hours (I haven't tried it beyond that yet), and the Bluetooth connects to my devices super easily. Excellent pair of headphones for the price point.

Promising review: "These headphones surprised me. I thought they were not going to be as great because of how cheap they are, but the bass is amazing!
