6.4-magnitude earthquake rocks Aceh

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Simeulue regency in Aceh on Tuesday, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported. The earthquake struck at 1:05 p.m. with an epicenter 24 kilometers southwest of Sinabang, Simeulue regency at a depth of 13 kilometers. The BMKG said the quake did not have the potential to cause a tsunami.
