73 Of The Best Things To Buy On Amazon

73 Of The Best Things To Buy On Amazon

BuzzFeed-Shopping·2025-08-04 05:04

1. A Baroque-inspired mirror no one will believe came from Amazon with Prime shipping. If you've been looking at the Anthro version or other pricier options but have hesitated to spend, look no further. Bonus: mirrors can make your space feel bigger!

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I was looking for two mirrors to go above each nightstand in our primary bedroom without paying the astronomical ‘popular gold mirror’ prices. These are a wonderful, more affordable option. They feel high quality. They are easy to hang. A wonderful size." —Patrick & Amanda

Price: $82.99+ (available in 10 sizes and five finishes)

2. A Birria Bomb that'll make dinner prep feel more like a spa day. JK...but in all seriousness, these chili-, herb-, and spice-packed balls are designed to impart rich flavor with minimal effort on your part — just combine water and the meat of your choosing, add the bomb, and cook in your pressure cooker, slow cooker, or right on the stovetop. Taco night is served!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

The birria bombs are made with arbol, ancho, and guajillo and make enough broth for 5–7 people (which makes this great for meal prep too!). Btw, reviewers say to use beef broth instead of water for a bigger punch of flavor.

Promising review: "Cooking the birria was super simple: just meat, water, and bombs. Sooo tasty. Better than the ones from our local restaurants. I cooked it range top and did have to add additional water to ensure enough consomme, but so worth it." —Justin

Price: $19.99 (for two bombs; you can also get a variety pack of their Birria, Tinga, and Pozole bombs for $49.99)

EZ Bombs is a family-owned, Latine-owned small biz, btw!

FYI: Amazon has a small business landing page with spotlights on brands and curated collections!

3. A hanging toiletry bag to make traveling with all the beauty products you can't bear to leave behind *so* much easier — and compact! No need to unpack on the hotel bathroom counter either — just unroll and hang, and you can see everything at a glance.

www.amazon.com

I bought this for a trip a few years ago, and I use it every time I travel. When I first packed it, I was legit shocked at how much I could fit inside — and it zips up to be surprisingly small! I bought the "medium," which was plenty big for my needs, especially if you're packing in a carry-on.

Promising review: "Seriously?! Do you see how much this holds?! Full shampoo bottles, face washes, hair brush...everything I could need or want to bring, FITS IN THIS ONE BAG! And it’s so cute! Feels like great quality too — all the hardware came with protective wraps to keep from scratching and the zippers feel very hardy. The hook at the top is also VERY WELL-SECURED to the bag, it’s double stitched to the top panel and almost feels like seatbelt material. And I love the extra pockets and netting inside. I would absolutely recommend this!" —mahea_c

Promising review: "This bag is like magic, it holds so much stuff! I am a certified over-packer, so this toiletry bag was exactly what I needed. Love all of the spacious pockets and compartments. I’m able to stuff all of my bathroom products, hair care products, and skincare products in here. It amazes me every time when I can zip it shut so easily. Perfect shape too; it fits well in most of my travel bags, and when it doesn’t, I just carry it separately with the handles. Has held up for several years now with regular use!" —KtReviews

Price: $16.19+ (available in seven colors and two sizes)

4. A set of surprisingly affordable *noise-canceling* wireless earbuds so you can jam out to your favorite tunes, nod thoughtfully at your go-to podcast, or simply call into all your Zoom meetings with great sound clarity. They also come with three sizes of silicone tips so you can ensure a secure — and comfortable — fit. If you'd like to keep several pairs of headphones or often lose yours, they're a great alternative to Apple AirPods Pro!

www.amazon.com

And even better than AirPods Pro? These have an LED display on the case to show you the charge level at a glance (am I the only one who has a hard time getting my phone to show the charge of my AirPods??). Btw, these are also IP7 waterproof rated, which means they're protected against immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes.

Promising review: "I have used these for about a month now, and they have been great! I had Apple brand AirPods for years but didn’t want to spend that much this time, so I was looking for an alternative. I went through several from Amazon ’til I found these, and let me just say they are worth every penny!! I use them a lot, and I’ve charged them maybe two times this whole month. The purple color is an added bonus! Look no further, buy these!" —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I bought these after getting an almost identical set previously from another supplier. I choose to buy the non-Apple pods because I tend to lose things, and after accidentally drowning my last set, I needed a replacement. These are hands down better. My last pair would cut out, refuse to connect, or disconnect randomly. These do none of those things. The connectivity is great, noise cancelling is really good, and they don’t shut off on me. I would buy these again if/when I inevitably need to." —Cinnalosasha

Price: $19.99+ (available in seven colors).

5. And if you're looking for the real deal, Amazon consistently offers a price break on whatever pair of AirPods are on your wishlist — while they're full price at Apple. The 2nd gen AirPods Pro are a classic and fan-fave, but I'm loving the new AirPods 4 myself — they're made without those silicone tips if you hate that deep-inside-my-ear feeling BUT have surprisingly amazing noise cancellation and great sound!

amazon.com

I have narrow ear canals and can't use AirPods Pro–style headphones, so when Apple came out with these, I bought them as soon as I heard. The noise cancellation is great for getting rid of low-grade noises and improving sound quality (especially considering they don't have a physical seal like the silicone ones) and they stay comfy after hours of use.

Promising review: "These are the best earphones I’ve ever had. And to be honest, they’re up there with some of the best headphones I’ve ever had. The noise cancellation is really, really good. The transparency mode works well. The adaptive noise filter works well. The conversation detect works well. The sound quality from these headphones is fantastic. I had the third-generation AirPods and I loved them. But these are better in every way and fit in my ears even better. I can wear these for a longer time before my ears start to feel funny. Also, they just have a better fit for me. I have zero complaints about these headphones. The [wildest] part to me is how much more beautiful so many songs sound. Songs that I’ve listened to hundreds of times before. But with these AirPods, I swear I hear notes and tones and instruments that I never noticed before in many songs. Especially some of the grunge, post-grunge, and alternative rock songs from the mid-90s. Listening to "Anna Molly" by Incubus in these things was intense haha. I hate rubber / silicone tips so I could never use the Pro versions. I’m amazed that these have noise cancellation without the nibs. It’s seriously stellar." —EmceeGraffiti

Price: $168.99 (with noise cancellation, $99 without)

6. A made-in-Italy diamond-cut decanter for drinking-at-an-ad-agency-in-the-'60s vibes but at a drinking-the-bottle-of-scotch-I-stole-from-my-parents price. Not that you did that, of course. But in all seriousness, this'll dress up your bar cart beautifully!

Amazon

Promising review: “I purchased this for my brother as a Christmas gift last year. The package arrived in perfect condition, with its contents safely intact. After pouring our first glass of whisky from this decanter, we immediately felt more sophisticated and used words like indubitably, transcendent, and ergo. Indeed, drinking from this decanter will make even Canadian LTD taste piquant." —Justin Pickens

Price: $17.29, or get a set with six cut rocks glasses for $33.99

7. An oscillating tower fan one reviewer nicknamed "THE GLACIER" *and* said is "better than your air conditioner" (I'm immediately sold). It has six speeds — up to 24 feet per second velocity — and three modes, and reviewers agree that it's super quiet. Installing a window air conditioner is scary...all you have to do is plug this in!

www.amazon.com

It's sleek and narrow, so it won't take up a ton of space in your room, and it looks surprisingly cool! It comes with a remote control so you can turn it on from your bed, and the LED lights turn off in sleep mode, so you don't need to worry about being disturbed.

Promising review: "Blown away! Not literally. I originally got this fan for my kid so she could cool down on warmer nights and help her sleep. The only problem was...it works so well, everyone keeps wanting to take it away (even me!) We've been using this model in almost non-stop operation for months now, changing the settings, using the remote, etc. This thing works like a champ, even after we've accidentally knocked it over a bunch of times. Anyway, I've decided to buy a couple more of these bad boys. Hands down, stop looking and comparing, just get this and be happy." —Lucretius' Quiet Citadel

Promising review: "I am elderly and live in Texas, where we have 100+-degree heat on a daily basis in the summer. This is, hands down, the best and most powerful fan I have experienced. I love it so much that I bought a second one for my sister, who is heat-sensitive. She got rid of the two tower fans she was using, as this fan cooled her room." —TJ

Price: $99.99+ (available in three colors)

8. A set of internet-famous Melanni sheets made of a super-soft and moisture-wicking microfiber fabric over 250,000 5-star reviewers (wow!) love for being cozy and sleeping surprisingly cool — at an unbeatable price! You just might want to ditch your expensive, name-brand sheets for these babies after the first night — lots of reviewers have.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I can't say enough good things about these sheets. I was waking up at night HOT all the time, and thinking it was a physical thing for me personally. I was reading online and stumbled on these and thought 'Hmmm...wonder if my uber-expensive sheets are actually making me hot at night??' I ordered these and I'm sleeping like a baby now. No more night sweats. Ordering some for my son as well. Game changer! High quality and exceptional price." —J. Marshall

Promising review: "I read from other reviews these sheets were soft, so I wasn't too surprised when I received them, and man, are they soft and so comfortable. We have Egyptian cotton sheets that were expensive, and I promise we have changed them back out for the comfort of these sheets. The cotton sheets were cold, and these were just right. The other thing is my husband has thin skin, so any nick he gets, he will bleed. Well he has bled on these white sheets and when we washed them (in cold water as instructed) the blood always comes out and never stains. I can't say enough great things about them except to say all three of my adult kids are receiving a set as part of their Christmas!" —Sheree Chrestman

Price: $34.97+ (available in sizes twin–California king, plus sheet sets with deep pockets for taller mattresses and 45 colors and patterns).

9. Cosrx’s snail mucin repairing essence that may seem like it would give you the ick, but is totally worth adding to your routine. No snail-like results here: Just pat it in the evening, and you’ll be appreciating the moisture boost right away. Reviewers say it helps with acne, inflammation, peeling, fine lines, and even eczema!

Amazon, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "This stuff heals and moisturizes like a miracle. I have very sensitive skin and couldn’t tolerate retinol until I started using this. Now my skin will handle Tretinoin (prescription-grade retinol). As long as I layer snail over it, there’s no irritation. Try it, you won’t regret it." —Sara Simkins

Promising review: "Game changer. I don't know what kind of sorcery this is, but it has literally changed my skin!! The first time I used it, my skin felt tighter and more balanced. A week later, 2x a day, my skin is so much brighter. Better texture and even coloring. Pores seem tighter. Not a single pimple since. It looks so healthy. Whatever magic this is, it works better than any expensive designer skin lab crap that I've tried." —Np

Price: $16.98 (also available in a pack of two).

Cosrx is just one of many Korean beauty brands available on Amazon. You can shop Amazon's K-beauty section here.

10. The Owala Freesip, which might be coming out victorious in The Battle of the Best Insulated Bottle (looking at you, Stanley and Hydroflask!). Why, you ask? It has a built-in straw you can sip out of *and* a wide-mouth spout for tip-back drinking — all covered by an easy push-button lid to keep everything grime-free and leakproof.

Amazon, www.amazon.com

And like all insulated bottles, it's designed to keep cold things COLD for 24 hours. Aaaand it has a carry loop for easy toting! I myself am partial to the exceptionally leakproof Brumate Era for my at-home hydration, but this lid situation is ideal for staying hydrated at park and beach hangs! I...now own three.

Promising review: "This is THE water bottle you need! Stop looking for another water bottle!! This is everything you need! I’ve owned Camelback, Contigo, off-brand Hydroflask...and this is the GOAT!" —Austin Martin

Promising review: "I will tell you that we own every brand of metal tumbler they make: Hydroflask, Stanley, Lululemon, Yeti, and Owala. They all do their job and keep your drinks cold for the day. BUT I was shocked to see that my daughter's Owala that I filled on Friday was not only still cold but had ICE in it on Monday morning!! Owala for the win!!" —Loves to shop

Price: $34.99.

11. A Zojirushi rice cooker reviewers say is so worth the investment, especially if you regularly eat a lot of rice. You'll get *perfect* results every time — including white, jasmine, sushi, and brown rices, plus sweet and porridge settings — without having to babysit the stove or worrying about cook times. Just take it from this reviewer: "I'm 47 years old and feel like I just ate rice for the first time; it was that much of a difference in quality."

Amazon, www.amazon.com

Reviewers have come back to leave glowing reviews after years of use or upgraded to this model after years of using another Zojirushi (one lasted almost *17 years*).

Promising review: "I literally just got it today and decided to make plain white rice to test it out. I eat a lot of rice usually and used to cook bigger batches to last me a week, but it gets clumpy after refrigerating it. I made 1 cup of rice using the Zojirushi and it's the most perfect rice I've ever tasted in my life, this rice cooker is 73664882266% worth it, if you don't mind the price. I can't wait to cook more" —Luisa

Still working as day one. UPDATE 6/11/2023: Still works great, used daily." —GoodFella [that's 7 and a half years later!]

Amazon

It even comes with a 32-page booklet about the ~history~ of the tube man.

Promising review: "Best gift. This was the hit of Christmas this year and had everyone fighting over it. It is rather loud but that is to be expected since it is essentially a small air blower. Looks just like its life-size counterpart and is just as silly and fun but now for your desk or wherever you plug it in." —Linsey Shubert

Price: $11.66

If you're looking for a gift, Amazon has you covered — especially when you need fast shipping. And we've rounded up a whole list of things from Amazon that make perfect last-minute gifts to make things even easier!

The newest Kindle Paperwhite (it even has a warm light option if you're trying to avoid blue light before bed!) so you can enjoy a few chapters without keeping the lights on, helping you (and your bed partner) wind down without too much light waking up your brain. Turn the TV off and get off your phone — this'll get you right off to dreamland.

Amazon

I've been using my Kindle Paperwhite (a previous generation) before bed for years — and after reading for a while, I turn down the brightness to a low level just slightly dimmer than I'd want — after a page or two, my brain goes "Nope!" and shuts off to sleep. AND it helps me not even start thinking the anxious or negative thoughts that *usually* keep me up at night. I recently got to upgrade to this new Kindle Paperwhite, and the warm light feature is a game-changer. And the page turns and responsiveness of this model are 20% faster — and I can really tell the difference compared to my old Kindle!

Promising review: "I love this device. It’s lightweight and easy to use. I wake up a lot in the middle of the night, and I like that I can read on this without waking up my partner. It also helps me to get to sleep since it’s not a source of blue light like the phone. Super convenient to take anywhere and read any time." —Heather Pennick

14. A pair of Colorfulkoala leggings in their ~Dreamlux~ fabric, which is designed to be buttery soft, sweat-wicking, and completely squat-proof, so your skin or undies never peek through the fabric. Reviewers back all of that up, tout them as a great alternative to Lululemon Align leggings, *and* say that they're super comfy (even enough to lounge in), with a waistband that never rolls down, like with some other brands.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Bonus: reviewers say they *don't* tend to attract dog or cat hair from shedding pets as much as other brands...which is borderline miraculous.

Promising review: "I can't say enough great things about these leggings! They don't roll down they feel amazing on. I have all kinds of brands: Lululemon, Vuori, Athleta, etc. and these are my favorites and the ones I feel the best and most confident in!! And the price you can't beat it. it's a win-win. I will be back to purchase even more colors!" —Lauren

15. The Chom Chom, because it's every pet-owning neat freak's dream that shedding simply...didn't exist. And this genius roller is the closest we can possibly get to that dream. It has a patented brush design (and *no* wasteful adhesive strips) to rid your lovely black sofa of all your furry friend's shedding in just a quick roll! All the hair will bunch up inside the roller, ready to be dropped into the trash with the push of a button.

www.youtube.com

It has over 140,000 five-star reviews!

Promising review: "Where has this been all my cat-loving life? Sticky rollers work fine for clothes but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20-pound. tabby and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing – he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care, it's THAT good." —Stephanie

Price: $24.99 (available in two colors).

16. A stylish acrylic block and set of sleek black carbon steel knives, because they'll really dress up your kitchen — and the bonus is they actually are really great knives too! Over 80 reviewers say they cut "like butter." And as I'm sure you've heard by now: sharp knives are actually safer than dull ones.

Amazon

This bb comes with 13 knives, a pair of kitchen scissors, a peeler, and a two-stage knife sharpener.

Promising review: "These knives are great! They stay super sharp, they’re comfortable to hold, and I love how much counter space it leaves as opposed to a big, bulky knife block. Fits perfectly in my minimalist kitchen!!! And it looks great on my counter, being one of the few things that I keep on my countertop! It is the perfect amount of knives without being too many knives (I don’t like things in excess)! I have never had a cheese knife before, and this baby is my favorite one in the whole set! LOL! It slices through hard cheeses like butter! Have not tried on soft cheese, but I’m sure it’ll be great because it is super sharp! I can’t say enough about how much I love these knives!!" —Sadie Allen

Price: $27.99+ (available in three colors; also available in smaller sets)

17. A mini ice sphere maker you may have seen all over TikTok — for a reason! Just fill, freeze, and then twist to easily release the ice right into the included storage container (so your ice doesn't get that funky freezer smell). It even comes with a scoop so you can film your own satisfying beverage videos.

www.amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "This product is amazing. I love ice, but my fridge is old and doesn't have an ice maker. I've tried so many ice trays and this is the best, functionally. Other silicone trays tend to spill over and end up giving you half an ice cube. These are plastic, therefore hold all the water properly. I also LOVE the sphere shape, which makes everything look a little more fancy. The best part is that it also comes with storage to hold the ice while more is being made. I drink ice with every drink I have throughout the day, and it helps me never run out or have to wait for ice to be ready. I purchase a lot from Amazon, but this has truly been one of my favorite products, and they are so cute stored in the fridge! 20/10." —Carolina Rodriguez

Price: $9.99+ (available in two sizes, four colors, and a set of two)

18. A 🙌 no-scrub, no-wipe 🙌 Wet & Forget cleaner if you love having a clean shower...but don't actually enjoy the cleaning process itself. Now you can keep your shower clean and mildew-free by spraying just *once a week*, waiting 8-12 hours, and then rinsing to reveal a cleaner shower over time. And it's bleach-free, so no harsh smells!

Amazon, www.amazon.com

Best invention ever? Possibly. Each bottle lasts for 12 weeks' worth of treatments. This is wonderful at keeping your shower clean, but if your shower isn't...spotless right now, you can use it a few times in a row to get it back to sparkling before using it once a week for maintenance!

Promising review: "Let me be clear, I HATE cleaning the bathroom, all aspects of it, including the shower. At the same time, I HATE a dirty bathroom, especially the shower, since I got Lasik and can clearly see the filth and scum that until now was there but invisible to my blind eyes. Along comes Wet & Forget, and holy shiny tile Batman, this stuff works! I use it weekly (unless I forget, which is part of its name, oddly enough) and it really looks like I used some brute force to bring my shower to its original glory. Get it, use it.....but dang it, don't forget it!" —Randy Bassett

Price: $19.98+ (available in two scents)

A Roomba robot vacuum (with 18x more suction and 33% more battery life than previous models!) that'll do the work *for* you, navigating around your home, picking up crumbs, pet hair, dust, and anything else that keeps your house from feeling clean on a regular basis so you can sit back and relax but still enjoy all the thrill of a clean home. It even works with Alexa and Google Assistant so you can control it with your voice!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

It runs for up to 120 minutes before automatically heading to the dock to recharge.

Promising review: "This is well worth its price. I hate housework, and particularly vacuuming and sweeping, but I have pets who shed, and this is the best purchase I've ever made in terms of helping me with housework. I turn Roomba on when I leave the house, and when I come back, she's either finished vacuuming or is still working. I am going to order one for my daughter. At first, she would get caught on things, but now that she knows her way around, I can turn her on and go out and not have to worry about her getting stuck. It's also really easy to clean out the dust receptacle." —Lauren

Promising review: "I was very sceptical about these but went on the recommendation of my daughter. It has changed my life (or at least my cleaning routine). It does take some getting used to, but give it a week and you won’t be able to live without it! As shown in my photo, it picks up pet hair. It appears to be randomly going around my hardwood floors, but it must work on some kind of internal grid because it doesn’t miss much. Before this purchase, I swept my floors approximately three times per week because of cat hair. This goes around every morning while I shower and get dressed, and picks up a full bin of dust! I wouldn’t run it when not at home if you own pets, but I think it’s perfectly fine to run while I do other things (it once ran over my cat’s tail bc he was too lazy to move). Occasionally, it gets stuck, but I just go around and do a quick pick-up to make sure I get maximum results. I hadn’t planned on using it on my deep pile carpet, but was amazed at how great a job it did! The room looked as though I had used a full-size vacuum! Get one! You won’t regret it!" —Southport Summers

Price: $199.99.

20. A pair of TikTok-famous Cushionaire slide sandals that seem to get more popular with every passing day — and for good reason. Reviewers swear the molded cushioned footbed (made from a *waterproof* foam) stays comfy for hours and hours, whether you're using them as at-home slippers or actual outside shoes.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "Best Amazon purchase I’ve made! I have spondylolysis and spinal stenosis, so I get horrible back, leg, and foot pains. This literally helps relieve my pain while I’m working, standing on my feet. They are super cute, I get tons of compliments on them, and they are breathable, lightweight, and easy to keep clean. Perfect for Hawaii weather! 💁🏽‍♀️ There are other brands that look like this, but don’t be fooled, THIS is the brand that is the most comfortable I have other brand,s and they don’t cut it!" —Chelsea Proenza

Price: $17.49+ (available in women's sizes 5-12 and 30 colors)

21. A Squatty Potty that can seriously improve every single number two you take at home. It's designed to help you poop in a more ~natural~ position, so it's less of a...strain. I'll just go ahead and quote one reviewer: "I lost minutes of reading time but gained back years of my life."

Amazon

If you somehow still don't know what a Squatty Potty is, it's a toilet stool that keeps your feet raised while pooping. ~Going~ in this position is supposed to fully relax your puborectalis muscle, meaning you have an easier elimination, with no straining. And if you think that's TMI, just try it and see. Read more about constipation relief at home, including using a squatting position, at Cleveland Clinic.

Promising review: "I love Squatty Potty and you will too. It works like a charm. You will wonder how you got along without it all these years. Think 'Laundry Chute!' That's the best way I can explain it. You will have more time on your hands now that you own a Squatty Potty. You go into the bathroom and you are out in seconds, not 10, 15, or 20 minutes as in the past. Business owners should buy these for their bathrooms, as their employees will take less time on bathroom breaks, really! In fact, if the government invested in these for every bathroom, the legislative process would even speed up. You will be glad you got one!" —campromise

Price: $24.99

If you want a ~prettier~ one for your bathroom, Squatty Potty also makes a teak wood version ($50.99) and a ~ghost~ clear acrylic one ($79.99).

22. A sleep-training clock with a sound machine and optional alarm clock built in. It uses colors and facial expressions to let your kids know when it's still sleep time (aka please don't wake me up) and when it's ok to get up and come say good morning — you can even choose the colors for each.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Watch this parent share why this sleep trainer is one of their "best parenting hacks" in this TikTok

Promising review: "My 2-year-old started getting up at 6:30 instead of 7:30 and was ready for the day. I saw this on TikTok, so I ordered it and explained to him how if Mella is red, we have to sleep, and when Mella turns green, it’s time to play. The first night, he sat up a couple of times in the night and looked at it and lay back down. We’ve been using it for almost a week, and he stays in bed until it’s green without any crying or complaining, so it fixed my problem so fast! You do have to toggle the night light on to red if you want it on all night. You could choose other colors, too, but red and green worked well since he has a car seat with red and green stop lights, so it's an easy connection. Anyways, I highly recommend it! He loves to check on Mella during the day and see if it’s asleep." —Mpt2

Price: $49.99 (available in four colors)

If you're a parent, you know that other parents on Amazon leave THE best reviews — and we've rounded up parenting products from Amazon with amazing reviews for you.

23. A Scrub Daddy sponge, because it is one of the all-time greatest Shark Tank hits for a reason. All the Sharks (except Lori, of course) may have laughed at first, but this smiley lil' guy just plain works on whatever mess you need to clean up — and almost 70,000 5-star reviewers agree.

Amazon, www.amazon.com

If you don't know what makes a Scrub Daddy different from other sponges, let me tell ya: it's firm in cold water (for tougher messes) but soft in warm water (for lighter cleaning). The scratch-free material is safe on tons of surfaces: glass, stainless steel, cast iron, nonstick, chrome, copper, etc. And if you thought the face was just a gimmick, think twice — the eye and smile holes are great for quickly cleaning large and small utensils!

Promising review: "These Scrub Daddies are the best thing to happen to sponges since the first person looked at a live sponge and said, 'I bet I could make one of those without killing a living sponge.' They don't smell! They clean like wizardry. And they last and last and last! I ordered these the first time at my apartment, and I've ordered them again for vacation. Helpful tip: Great for cleaning knives. This may give you a shudder, but I just stick the knife into the Scrub Daddy's mouth and pull it out...like licking the cake batter off the knife, but never getting cut! Scrub Daddies are INVINCIBLE and AWESOME!" —J. Bogdanove

24. A Revlon one-step drying brush (now with an upgraded motor — it's an Amazon exclusive!) with a unique oval-shaped barrel so you can get super close to your scalp for smooth hair and majorly boosted volume at the roots, without having to juggle a brush and blow-dryer.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I never write product reviews, but this brush is amazing! I have curly/wavy hair that is past my shoulders, but very fine. If I don't blow-dry and straighten it right away, it gets very curly and frizzy and has always been a pain to blow-dry and flat-iron. I have never been very good at blow-drying with a round brush and have always relied on the flat iron to get my hair smooth after drying. With this brush, I can let my hair air dry for a bit, and then use this, and I don't need to use the flat iron at all. My hair looks so full and bouncy that several people have asked me if I just got my hair done. Honestly, with this brush, it looks better than when my hairdresser blow-dries! It is so easy to use and takes way less time to do than blow drying. I haven't tried from wet-wet, but today I only let it dry a bit and then used the brush, and it was still fast. My only complaint is that the handle is a little big and hard to hold on to, but that is fairly minor. Also, I was worried about it getting tangled in my hair, but so far, I have been able to wrap my hair around the brush and have not had any issues getting the brush out. I love it!" —Bostonchick

Price: $31.49+ (available in three sizes and five colors)

Promising review: "Rating: 10000 out of 5. You know, living your day-to-day life without this mascara is a struggle. The formula is soo well done, and the application is EXTREMELY EASY. Your own child can apply it for REAL. I’ve had this mascara since 2018, and it has been one long journey finding the right mascara, and it has ALWAYS HAS MY BACK. My lashes look so LONG, CURLED, and AMPLIFIED 10x more. I’ve always been asked, 'Did you get your lashes done? Or are those your real lashes?' And I just tell them it’s the essence mascara. GO BUY IT. Now. For the price to be retailed at $4.99 and by giving me the EQUAL amount of effort as the $20 Telescopic Mascara, I say this definitely has to be in your makeup bag. I recommend this to anyone. Tell your friends and family, because the essence of mascara is where it’s at. Thanks, essence!" —Fatihah Moien

Promising review: "I bought these out of curiosity but am a 100% believer in witchcraft now!! I had an old OLD bag of brown sugar I found in the back of my fridge, and figured that I would give it a try. Wow!! It really, really works! I haven't used it multiple times, but it really works to make old brown sugar soft again, which is awesome because I love baking, but not enough to go use a bag of brown sugar in one weekend. Great price for what you get!!" —Chalia

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

You can get it bundled with a milk frother, so say hello to delicious lattes and cappuccinos, too. I have one of these bbs and it makes my morning brew quick + delicious — ideal for pre-caffeinated brains. I use their double espresso capsules for my daily latte (hot and iced). And you can recycle the used capsules!

Promising review: "I will be the first to admit, before getting this bad boy, I was a Starbucks goer — if not every day, then every other day. I knew I needed a major sustainable change, and I found my solution. It isn’t the most compact machine ever, but the efficiency and coffee/espresso quality are out of this world! I look forward to using it every morning and experimenting with different recipes with the milk attachment. Iced lattes have become my favorite morning routine, and I'm saving so much money already from not going to Starbucks. Cleanup is virtually nonexistent because the used pods go into the canister, and you never have to touch them. Very happy with this product!" —Laura Jane Phelps

Promising review: "I am a swimmer and at the end of each practice I end up with sore muscles and really painful spasms in my legs, so I decided to purchase this massager gun to help with that. My friend recommended it to me, and I have to say that I am really impressed with this product. The gun is really well built, it's not heavy, and it's easy to use; most of the accessories are made of plastic but have a good quality. The power of the gun is incredible; with the first level, I can feel that it massages the deep tissue of my muscles. I have been using it every day since I received it, for almost one week now, and the battery is still full. Another thing that I loved is the case that comes with the gun; you can carry it and the accessories everywhere. The best product I've ever bought." —Solange

30. An air fryer (from the makers of the INSTANT POT!!) in a 10-quart size that's perfect for whipping up snacks and meals for yourself or the whole family without taking up oodles of counter space. That means better frozen wings and tots, crispier reheated leftovers, and making simple dinners without turning on the stove or oven — which takes way longer and can run up your gas or electric bill.

Hannah Loewentheil / BuzzFeed

Here's what BuzzFeed Food writer Hannah Loewentheil has to say about it: "I'd been contemplating buying an air fryer for quite some time, but it wasn't until I found myself cooking every night with my family due to COVID-19 that I finally decided it was the right time to get one. Friends of mine were raving about their new Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 Air Fryer, so after reading similar feedback on Amazon, I decided it looked like a winner. And it happens to be made by the same company that makes the crowd-favorite Instant Pot. I figured I would be using this appliance primarily as air air fryer, but as an added bonus, it can also roast, broil, bake, re-heat, and dehydrate food.

I've had this air fryer for about three weeks now, and I can honestly say it's become the hero of my kitchen. It preheats quickly, it's large enough to a good amount of food at once, it's easy to clean, and it makes food taste crispy on the outside and moist on the inside without any oil. I've been using my air fryer to make vegetables just about every night and it makes them taste so good. If you're cooking for kids, picky eaters, or you just don't get so excited about eating vegetables, the air fryer could be perfect for you. If you like chicken, the air fryer might change your life, and I don't mean that to be dramatic. The air fryer produces restaurant-quality chicken that tastes absurdly decadent, except there's no oil involved in the cooking — just air. We also tried making sesame chicken in the air fryer using boneless skinless chicken thighs. The sesame chicken tasted almost identical to my favorite Chinese takeout, and it had nothing to do with my cooking skills. Thanks to the air fryer, the chicken gets so crispy. I couldn't believe I made this at home!!"

Price: $147.99 (also available in a 6-quart size).

Check out the full review, plus some air fryer recipe suggestions for more!

And btw, if you're looking for something smaller, try the Instant Pot Vortex mini version! That's what I use in my NYC-sized kitchen, and I LOVE it! Get it from Amazon for $59.99.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "OMGOSH, this desk bike is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me! Multitasker’s dream! It’s super easy to adjust and quiet. My husband and I use it every night after putting the boys to bed. He’s 6’3” & I’m 5’7”. We adjust it to our heights in seconds. He’ll use it while watching TV/sports, and I’ll do it while I work on my laptop. The time just flies by! It’s super compact and easy to wheel around. We’ve been keeping it in our living room since it doesn’t take up much space, and our house is small! We just lower the desktop all the way down and tuck it under our kitchen island. Set up was a breeze, too. The quality is great. I highly, highly recommend it! We haven’t worked out consistently in years, and we’ve been using it nightly!" —Lucy N.

32. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, a fan-favorite French moisturizer that you could stock up on during your next trip to Paris...or just order straight from Amazon. (It's a verified seller!) Reviewers and makeup artists alike swear by this for a super-hydrating base under cosmetics (and bonus: it smells really good too).

Amazon

Promising review: "I dunno what kind of sorcery this is, but it's a godsend. I have combination skin that tends to lean towards dry, and it's incredibly moisturizing — I've been using this product for nearly two years now, and as long as I use it regularly, I do not have any flaking. It's also helped with some of my wrinkles and with the crinkling on my eyelids! It's non-greasy and has a pleasantly floral scent that is not perfume-y, overpowering, or lingering. I can attest that it's helped with signs of aging in combination with my use of facial serums and sunscreen. AND it does not irritate my extremely sensitive and extremely Irish skin one bit, which is honestly a miracle. It's costly, but a tiny bit goes a long way. One tube lasts me several months! MAGIC." —Kay

Price: $29 (also available in a mini, one-ounce size for $17).

33. An extra-durable duck-shaped squeaking dog toy because, unlike other toys that get shredded in days (OK, hours), this adorable guy will last months, at least according to reviewers.

AnaMaria Glavan / BuzzFeed

Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping writer AnaMaria Glavan has to say: "My French Bulldog is extremely spoiled and gets new toys all the damn time — my sister will, I’m not kidding, raid the rows of TJ Maxx once a week for a new seasonally appropriate squeaker. There’s currently a mangled pastel purple bunny sitting in the garbage because, yep, he chewed right through it in a day… which brings me to my point! Chew toys can cost anywhere from $10 to $14 a pop and last maybe three days with minimal play. My dog sleeps for 18 hours in a 24-hour cycle, so it mystifies me that he manages to go through them so quickly. But a few months ago, I found this very plain yellow duck toy on Amazon that had over 14,000 reviews with buyers claiming it could take a lot of wear and tear. I thought my doggo deserves the best, so let’s try it out.

Folks! This duck is woven with Valyrian steel! I literally purchased this on Nov. 24, 2020 (and I’m writing this on March 25, 2021) and it’s STILL GOING STRONG. It has not been torn or ripped, and there is no toy entrail fluff scattered throughout our living room. Nada. It’s still perfectly intact, and Rockie generally prefers this toy over any other one in his ever-changing arsenal. It’s also perfect for his medium frame, but I can see it being equally as ideal for smaller dogs because it’s lightweight, despite being on the larger side. My dog is also strange in that he prefers sleeping on this random blanket in the corner rather than in his bed, and sometimes he’ll drag the duck with him and lie next to it, and I just...my eyes fill with tears when I think about how adorable that is.

The best part is that the toy costs less than $10. Considering the quality, you’d expect it to cost *way* more, considering that I haven’t had to replace it in the four months of owning it. And again, I want to stress — my dog typically shreds through toys in less than a week, so to have one last 15x longer?! It’s pretty sweet. I also want to point out that the squeaker isn't obnoxiously loud, which is pure bliss."

Price: $5.39 (note that you'll get a random color; also available in a pack of three).

34. A cast iron skillet that'll get job after job after job done — steaks! skillet cookies! at-home pizzas! Treat it well, keep it seasoned (and don't let it rust!), clean it properly, and you won't have to ever replace it. We're talking family heirloom status.

Amazon

It's preseasoned, has excellent heat retention, and has a helper handle built in for easy carrying. Just remember that it gets (and stays) hot hot HOT when it comes out of the oven. Btw, this is our mid-price pick for best cast-iron skillet!

Promising review: "I own just about every make of cast iron out there, and this is the BEST piece I have ever used. Pretty well seasoned from the factory, nice smooth cooking surface. I love the longer curved handle and oversized pour spouts ( they actually pour the liquid, not spill it out of the pan). This has quickly become my favorite piece of cast iron and will be buying more." —Will

Price: $7.99+ (available in six sizes and as a set).

35. A pack of waterproof blister bandages that are thick enough to protect and prevent blisters (like moleskin), but also made of hydrocolloid to treat any existing blisters while you wear 'em.

Amazon

On a family trip to Rome in 2019, my dad brought new shoes (???? terrible idea!!) and got really bad blisters. Luckily his Virgo daughter had these bbs along and enabled him to walk in much more comfort until they healed. I never travel without them!

Promising review: "Great bandages! These are easy to use and so soft. They stayed on during a shower which impressed me as well. They are the perfect size and so comfortable. I also appreciated the fact that they didn't come off in my shoe which is always a problem for me! Love the little case for them which I can easily throw in my purse. Great blister bandages!" —CTSmith

Price: $12.99+ (available in three sizes and four styles).

36. An immersive Govee TV backlight that brings the colors on the screen *into the room* for a truly riveting viewing experience, whether you're watching a movie or even playing video games. It senses the colors on the screen in real-time, and you can even hook it up to Google Home or Alexa for voice control!

www.amazon.com, Jenae Sitzes / BuzzFeed

Here's BuzzFeed Shopping editor Jenae Sitzes on this light system: "My boyfriend recently surprised me by upgrading my TV setup with this backlight, and I've been so impressed with its performance already, especially when watching movies or playing video games. It's important to follow the instructions closely to ensure the color-matching looks correct (and Govee has a great instructional video on this), but we had no issues. The setup includes light strips that go around the back of your TV and a camera that subtly hangs over your TV at the top, which might seem weird at first, but it doesn't cover your screen at all and you forget it's there in no time.

The VIBES are simply unmatched whenever this backlight is turned on. One of the first things we put on to test it was Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour on Disney Plus, and it really lived up to the promise of immersion, extending out all of the incredible lighting production almost like it was happening in my living room. I posted a clip of it on my Instagram Stories and had one person message me, "Wow, it's like you're at the show." It really was (and I didn't even have to drop $300+ for the experience).

I have several other Govee products (and this backlight incorporates with them all seamlessly via the Govee app), but this is easily my favorite piece of lighting I've bought from them yet. As a night owl myself, I highly recommend it for anyone who spends much of their evening hours parked in front of the TV!"

Promising review: Best purchase all year. The setup was easy, and the calibration was easy. Only had it for a day so far, but it sticks fine. App is very customizable." —Michela Tymeson

Price: $69.99+ (available in three sizes for TVs measuring 40"–85").

37. Amazon, www.amazon.com

Caffeine has a number of skincare benefits, including brightening and temporarily reducing the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite, if that's something you're looking to do! You can read more about the skincare benefits of caffeine at the Cleveland Clinic.

Promising review: "Where has this been all my life? I have been using this for maybe three days now, and putting it on in the morning and evening are the best parts of my day. The description of the scent as 'pistachio, salted caramel, and vanilla' does not even begin to describe the incredibly decadent smell of this cream on my skin. My skin feels like velvet, and I saw improvements in the texture after the first application. I will use it for the rest of my life. Do not ever discontinue this! I did not expect to be so amazed by this cream, but it is life-changing. Buy it! You won't regret it." —Michelle Brown

Price: $48 (for an 8-ounce jar; also available in an 2.5-ounce size for $24)

It has a strong suction power, so be gentle and follow their directions!!

Promising review: "I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times — so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. I woke up with a bug bite on my arm, so I used this little tool (three times per the instructions) — immediately after using, it stopped itching! And less than 24 hours later, the bump/bite is gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing, but a small price to pay IMO. Bottom line: it’s awesome. I’m carrying it with me everywhere!" —Rebecca

39. A satin pillowcase to help maintain hair and skin health even as you sleep, reducing pesky frizz and breakage when compared with regular cotton or other fiber pillowcases — that means longer-lasting blowouts and less damage in the long run. Why spend the money on pricey brands like Slip and Blissy?

Amazon

This is my go-to satin pillowcase. I have two Slip pillowcases, and several of these, and actually, the Bedsure ones wash up much nicer and retain an incredibly silky smooth feel after dozens of trips through the laundry. They're the only ones I'll buy going forward.

Promising review: "I was skeptical that these wouldn't work as well as silk pillowcase because the price was so low. But, game changer, seriously. Not sure what kind of sorcery is built into this, but it stays cool all night, and my hair hasn’t been a wreck when I wake up. Get this!" —Susie F.

Promising review: "I bought these cases to match a new sheet set. I previously had bought much more expensive brands to match other sheets, but I love the Bedsure brand of products and wanted to try these out. Arguably, they’re softer than my more expensive ones! They did arrive very wrinkled, but a quick wash and dry, and they’re shiny and wrinkle-free. I like the envelope closure a lot more than competing brands' zip closure. Highly recommend!" —Hannah Watkins

Promising review: "Love this top! I now have it in two colors and would buy every color if I could. It’s comfortable and cute. Can be worn for a workout, or as a cute top for a casual day or night out. Doesn’t need a bra and is the right amount of supportive. It’s a stretchy spandex-like material and is thick enough not to be see-through." —Julia Kennedy

Plus, it makes a fang-tastic gift for anyone who appreciates irony, has strong feelings about their favorite vampire, or just really loves garlic bread.

Amazon

Promising review: "I purchased this as a gift for my friend who is a fantastic cook--she uses fresh ingredients almost exclusively — but pressing fresh garlic is a task usually delegated. No longer — Gracula is there for her. She uses him nearly every time she needs garlic (which is basically daily), and months later, she still makes a point of saying how much she enjoys the gift. I'm pretty sure she likes it better than other gifts I've gotten her, which were more expensive/thought out, and I'm fairly certain it's what took me from 'good friend' to 'best friend,' but it can be that way sometimes. Anyway, definitely recommended for people who cook with garlic and have a sense of humor." —L

Promising review: "This is the BEST purchase I have ever made. I have been an insomniac for years and have never successfully been treated. Even with many doctors' appointments and medications — NOTHING worked! On top of that, I have RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome). I thought I would give this blanket a try. This product is not advertised for RLS, but it absolutely should be! I have had my blanket for three days, and I have been basically sleeping in a coma-like state!!! It is the soundest and best sleep I have ever had in my life. And the comforting weight on my legs and boy just eases those RLS symptoms and drifts me off to a sound sleep!!! It is so hard to describe the feeling of peace and comfort the minute you lay it on your body. I actually ordered the 15-pound blanket for my weight and height because I wanted the extra weight just in case. I decided to go ahead and order a second one if I have an emergency situation and need even more weight on my legs. This product is phenomenal to say the least!!!" —DeAnn Barksdale

They just got worse with time, and nothing would hold them off. Then I tried The Pink Stuff, and my jaw dropped as I washed it away. You can see in this picture I did a small section and holy moly, it looked like a new door. I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to say how stunned I was with this. I haven’t used it on much else yet, but with the results from my shower door, I can only imagine how great it’ll be. I give 5 stars!" —Katie Marchbank
