On 19 May 2025, a car driven by a 78-year-old man plowed into motorcyclists and pedestrians near a school in Taipei, Taiwan, killing three and injuring 12 others.
The accident occurred around 4pm when the elderly driver ran a red light at an intersection near Taipei.
The vehicle collided with three motorcycles and a bicycle before hitting a group of mostly students.

So old and already 78 years old still driving and yet don't observing the traffic rules and runs on red light where he supposed to stop. Now, you run over some students and students are getting killed by your violation of the traffic rules. Imagine if those who get killed is your family's members, how will you feel ?

It is certainly heartbreaking to have three lives be brutally cut short in this horrific manner Hopefully, further investigation into the matter will afford the three deceased families, friends and relatives some closure for the unspeakable horrific tragedy.
