90s Icon Robin Tunney’s Rare & Moody Selfie Is Proof She’s Still the Ultimate It-Girl
90s It-Girl Robin Tunney is serving up major cool-girl vibes once again, and we’re obsessed with this rare glimpse into her life off-screen. In case you missed it, The Craft star shared a super-rare selfie on her Instagram.
She shared the moody pic with the caption reading, “#resilence @foundrae.”
In the pic, we see her looking as radiant as can be, rocking her shaggy brown hair, as well as a plunging red top that shows off her curves. Along with that, she’s donning chunky gold jewelry from the celebrity-loved brand Found Rae.
It’s obvious she’s a forever cool girl both on and off screen, but it’s so cool to see her moody, picturesque vibe!
As we said, Tunney is a cool girl both on and off screen, but she feels she plays completely different people on screen, ones who are either way cooler or more prim.
In a previous, and rare, interview with Cosmopolitan, Tunney talked about how she didn’t want to play the lead in The Craft. “I wanted Fairuza [Balk]’s part or Neve [Campbell]’s part. I was like, Sarah’s the good one. You’re going to want to stuff her in a locker and tell her to stop crying. I think they just seemed like those characters were more colorful to play, and I don’t really know if I identified with people who felt incredibly confident about themselves. I felt more attuned to those sort of characters,” she said.
And what’s super cool is that in an archived interview with Douglas Eby, she spoke about how she loves to play characters so unlike her in real life.
“I’m nothing like Sara in THE CRAFT, and I’m nothing like Deborah, that I did in EMPIRE, or like the girl I was in ENCINO MAN. It’s fun to play different people, and when you have that separateness from someone, it’s easier for me to play them, because you look at the person from an outsider point of view, and you know the things they do,” she said. “If you’re just playing yourself, somehow it just seems too easy.”
