WITH 2023 fast approaching, the countdown to the Year of the Rabbit has begun.

The enthusiasm of spring cleaning, decorating the house and reuniting with family members from far and near, is building up.

And Chinese-language radio station 988 already has its latest Chinese New Year album out: 988 Do It Happy New Year.

To celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, 988 and the Yee Lee Group joined forces for the fourth time to produce the new Chinese New Year album.

988 general manager Woo Bee Ay expressed her gratitude to Yee Lee Group for its continuous support over the years.

She also had a message for listeners to “stay tuned for our soon-to-be released Chinese New Year music video with lots of positive energy and joy to be shared”.

Album full of surprisesThe lunar new year album was written by the famous musician Chen Yanhui, who also produced the Cantonese new year song Red Year Star Movement and Mandarin song Together We Do It.

Red Year Star Movement was written and composed by 988’s former DJ Loke.

The lively music style and catchy lyrics are just what is needed for a wonderful new year atmosphere.

In the music video, the DJs’ hilarious performances will definitely amuse fans and get them into the New Year mood.
