NEW YORK - Ms Tatiana Schlossberg, the 35-year-old daughter of Caroline Kennedy and a granddaughter of John F. Kennedy, revealed in an essay published in The New Yorker on Nov 22 that she is fighting a rare and aggressive blood cancer, acute myeloid leukemia.

Ms Schlossberg, an environmental journalist, said in the essay that her cancer was discovered in May 2024, while she was in the hospital for the birth of her second child.
