According to CBN Data, Gen Z viewers make the bulk of the viewers who are willing to pay to watch these shows.

Unlike traditional productions that require production teams, big budgets, and long filming schedules, an entire AI-generated series can be created in just 15 minutes at a fraction of the cost.

Yikes. Job security, anyone?

The breakout hit The Cat Daddy Chronicles, about a feline raising a human baby, along with juggling mischievous kittens and deep family secrets amassed over one million followers, with some videos garnering more than 200 million views.

And yes, no humans nor real animals were harmed or injured in the process

Its viral success inspired other creators to churn out similar AI dramas such as the historical-themed drama His Highness Bichon Rules The Empire, a historical series about a bichon frise reclaiming her royal title after growing up in an orphanage.

Its creator reportedly made 500K yuan (S$93K) a month from the series.
