A new AI center for public health is set to open in Singapore in the first half of 2025.

The center will develop AI tools to predict chronic diseases. It will also work on surveillance systems to detect infectious outbreaks early.

This initiative is being led by Saw Swee Hock School Of Public Health, part of the National University of Singapore.

It aims to blend advanced technology with public health efforts, with a focus on data privacy protection.
