PETALING JAYA: Air quality in Sri Aman, Sarawak, has dropped to its lowest level since the latest haze outbreak, with an air pollutant index (API) of 407, that is considered hazardous.

The Environment Department air quality hourly monitoring system showed readings for the town near Kuching had deteriorated from 352 at 6am to 397 at 4pm, before breaching the 400 mark at 5pm.
