Jay Chou saved the best for last at his sold-out three-night Carnival World Tour in Hong Kong last weekend.

Just when everyone thought they had seen it all, the Mandopop King pulled out the ultimate surprise for the encore on the final night — Heavenly King Aaron Kwok.

The moment Aaron, 59, took the stage, he and Jay, 46, launched into an energetic, perfectly synchronised performance of viral children's song ‘Baby Shark’, sending the audience into a frenzy. It's a song the pair must be familiar with. Aaron has two kids, Chantalle, seven, and Charlotte, five, with a third on the way. Jay also has three kids: daughter Hathway, 10, son Romeo, eight, and another daughter Jacinda, three. 

In 2019, Aaron was invited to do his own version of the viral dance and he incorporated some moves from his own repertoire of hits such as ‘I Love You Forever’.

As if that wasn’t enough, they performed ‘Never Ending Love’, a song Jay had written for the Hong Kong star back in 2010, and Aaron ended the night with a high energy performance his iconic dance anthem ‘Crazy City’.

It was their first time sharing the stage in 18 years — and fans loved it.

There were comments like "Super surprised," and “It was amazing to watch two legends together, made my night!"

Many also gushed about Aaron’s dancing.

“I will be mesmerised by Aaron Kwok’s dancing for the rest of my life,” swooned one fan, while another quipped: “Honestly… when it comes to dancing, Jay looked more like the guest.”

A third concurred: “Jay looked like he was tagging along in a public square dance.”
