Aaron Rodgers Reveals He's Married
Aaron Rodgers is tackling life with someone new.
The NFL player revealed that he's a married man during a June 10 press conference following his first practice with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Yes, it’s a wedding ring,” Aaron told a reporter, who congratulated him on the milestone. “Thank you.”
As for when the nuptials took place? The quarterback revealed, "It's been a couple months."
While Aaron has not delved into his relationship with the mystery woman, in a December episode of The Pat McAfee Show, he shared he had a girlfriend named Brittani while discussing Christmas shopping, simply noting, "There was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn’t showed up yet."
When one of the co-hosts jokingly asked if he was referring to Britney Spears, Aaron replied, "Not Britney Spears, no, this is Brittani with an 'i.'" He also noted that she keeps her life fairly private as she does not have social media.
The football player seemed lovestruck at the time, sharing, "It's a good feeling boys. It is."
Four months later, during another appearance on the show, he once again referred to his love life, stating, "I'm 41 years old, I'm in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention. I have personal commitments I made not knowing what my future was going to look like after last year, that are important to me."
And after being spotted wearing a black band on his ring finger during the weekend of the Kentucky Derby on May 2, people began to speculate. Suspicions seemed to be confirmed when Aaron—who was previously engaged to Shailene Woodley and notably dated Olivia Munn and Danica Patrick—was spotted wearing the ring once again in his official Steelers signing photo days before confirming the news.
As Aaron put it during his April appearance, "I'm in a different phase of my life."
