PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik have secured a hard-fought win over Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun in the Singapore Open quarter-finals on Friday (May 30).

Playing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, third seeds Aaron-Wooi Yik were made to work for every point but ultimately held their nerve to overcome the spirited young duo.

The Paris Olympic bronze medallists sealed their place in the semi-finals with a 22-20, 21-17 victory in 33 minutes, making up for the defeat to their compatriots in the Malaysian Masters final last week.
