KUCHING: Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg recently declared the state's commitment to 100 per cent green energy generation, shifting away from environmentally harmful materials, the Sarawak Public Communications Unit reported.

During the International Water Day National Level celebration at the Kuching Waterfront, he revealed plans for Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) to transition two of its coal-fired plants at Sejingkat and Balingian into biomass power plants.
