26 Jun - Abby Abadi is no longer interested to make any comments regarding her daughter Marissa Dania and her marriage to Ahmad Aslam.

The 48-year-old singer, who was asked about their relationship recently, said that she will let Marissa deal with her own personal life.

"It's her choice. Let her face it on her own. If it's good for her, it will continue. But if it's the opposite, let's just see what will happen. That's all that I can say," she said.

Abby won't get involved in Marissa's marriage anymore

Abby said that it doesn't matter if she was vocal about the issue, seeing that it doesn't change anything.

"I am okay with Marissa. She is my daughter after all. We don't want things to turn worse. Let us have space to calm down," she added.

It was back in April that Abby decided to express her ire on the issue of Marissa and Aslam, who eloped and tied the knot in Songkhla back in 2023. The couple were slammed due to the fact that Aslam already has a wife.

The frustration that Abby expressed stemmed from a comment on social media telling her to apologise to Aslam's first wife, Umisya. The singer immediately responded that it is Aslam who should be apologising to her for creating the problem in the first place.
