Actor Rayson Tan skips Star Awards due to mum's death but urges wife Chen Liping to attend
Actor Rayson Tan skipped this year's Star Awards, which took place on Sunday (April 18), as his 81-year-old mother had died the day before.
In an interview with Shin Min Daily News on Sunday, Tan said his mother had difficulties breathing due to a burst blood vessel and fell into a coma. She was rushed to Sengkang General Hospital, but later died.
