Actor-turned-hawker huang yiliang sent to hospital after alleged assault at circuit road hawker centre

Former Mediacorp actor Huang Yiliang was hospitalised after he was allegedly assaulted during a dispute at a hawker centre on 10 May.
According to a Facebook post by Singapore Uncensored – Bringing you uncensored coverage on 11 May, the 64-year-old currently runs a seafood stall at Circuit Road Hawker Centre.
Videos circulating online showed Huang seated outside his stall in a red polo shirt. The clips also showed him speaking to police officers while paramedics attended to him.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told MS News they received a call for assistance at 79A Circuit Road at about 6pm, and conveyed a person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Huang told The Straits Times (ST) that the dispute began at around 6pm while he was preparing food orders.
He alleged that the owner of a neighbouring Hainanese chicken rice stall had called over his female stall assistant to speak with her and her husband.
