Adtech firm AppLovin in talks to acquire TikTok as US seeks buyer
AppLovin is in discussions to acquire TikTok, according to sources cited by CNBC.
The Trump administration has been seeking a US-based owner for TikTok and is aware of AppLovin’s interest. This comes as TikTok faces a potential US ban by Apr. 5, due to a national security law requiring ByteDance to divest its American operations.
