When Pava LaPere wanted something, she didn't take no for an answer.  

When she was about 3 years old, that meant begging her dad to pick her up after a long day at SeaWorld in San Antonio--literally blocking his path in the parking lot until he gave in. As a student at Johns Hopkins University, that meant empowering student entrepreneurs at an institution known for its medical school. And as the 26-year-old CEO and co-founder of the Baltimore-based startup EcoMap Technologies, it meant digitizing ecosystems to make information more accessible.
