Ajai apologises for sharing opinion on 4U2C copyright conflict
4 Jul – Ajai recently found himself having to apologise to AC Mizal, following his previous statement regarding the copyright conflict between the latter's group 4U2C and songwriters Man Senoi and Mama Rap.
The whole issue sparked recently, when the two aforementioned writer and composer of Zman Production questioned 4U2C's decision to stage a concert without notifying them as the owner of the group's 25 songs.
Ajai, who previously opined that the two parties should have a talk about the issue, released a statement of apology after being slammed by AC Mizal for his supposed unnecessary opinion.
"If any of my statement was misinterpreted or hurt any party, I am sorry. It was not intended to prevent any party from making music. I support the effort of any artiste to make music and I hope this issue will be resolved peacefully," he posted on Instagram.

Speaking to the media soon after, Ajai, real name Mohamad Faizal Maas, said that he was just responding to a question from the media and sharing facts at the same time.

"It was not meant to murky the waters. When a reporter asked me, I gave the facts and my opinion. We are not siding with any party here. We are just giving facts on what Exists experienced in the past when we tried to leave our old company to join an international label," he said.
He also stated that he once faced a situation where his song, "Seandainya Masih Ada Cinta", sung by Dayang Nurfaizah, could not be performed for four years due to issues with the recording material or 'sound audio'.
